Sceptre Introduces Their Soundx Notebooks Into the
Canada's Mass Merchant Market Channel

City of Industry, California - January 31, 2001 - Strengthening their commitment to the technology industry, Sceptre Technologies today announced that they have introduced their notebook line to the mass merchants of Canada. The first model to hit Canada is the S69002. This award-winning notebook is currently being offered nationwide at CompuSmart, CompuCentre, and MicroAge locations as well as online at www.compusmart.com. For 2,995 Canadian Dollars (CDN), customers can purchase the S69002 notebook consisting of a 15" SXGA/XGA TFT LCD screen, an Intel Pentium III 700 MHz CPU, 128 MB of RAM, a 20 GB Hard Drive, a built-in FDD, an 8X DVD-Rom Drive, and a built-in 56K V.90 fax modem.
