Sceptre Introduces Their High Resolution Portable Desktop Soundx 69502 Notebook 

City of Industry, CA - October 30, 2000 - Hot off receiving awards and praises for their other Soundx notebooks,  Sceptre is introducing their ultra-high resolution mobile desktop.  This notebook is not just visually appealing; it also packs a punch performancewise.  The Soundx 69502 notebooks are available with Intel Pentium III 500 - 800 MHz processors, making them a notebook to fit every mobile user's needs.  From graphics professionals to spreadsheet users, you will appreciate the high resolution the Soundx 69502's 15.1-inch display achieves.  The 1400 x 1050 SXGA+ TFT LCD display allows the user to squeeze out more clarity from their screen versus a standard 1024 x 768 display.

Along with the Intel Pentium processor and 1400 x 1050 SXGA+ TFT LCD display, the basic configurations of the Soundx 69502 are an upgradeable Ultra DMA hard drive (up to 30 GB), upgradeable memory (up to 512 MB), PMCIA slots (1 type III or 2 type II), standard 8X DVD ROM Drive, built-in V. 90 Fax/Data Modem, lithium ion battery, and a free carrying case.  As with its sister notebook, the Soundx 69002, the Soundx 69502 also features a utility bay which enables the user to swap and choose between four peripherals including the CD-ROM, DVD ROM, CDRW, and a secondary battery.  The notebook also comes with a 1-year warranty with free lifetime technical support.
