I have had this monitor for about a year now and it is pretty nice. The price can't be beat and the screen is bright and sharp. The speakers don't sound too good but then again who uses monitor speakers anyway. I would say this is a good buy and NewEgg once again comes through on the price. |

I have another LCD, a Phillips, 17inch, which I love. I wanted to replace my main computer's old CRT with an LCD screen also. This is the one I picked, and I'm very happy with it. The picture is sharp and clean, very bright, no dead pixels anywhere. The unit is light and easy to move. At this price, I rate this monitor to be quite a bargain right now. |

Why is this monitor so cheep??? It's got better specs than almost any other LCD I've looked at. This thing looks perfect. It's fast! What ghosting? I've played the latest games, watched DVD's turned it on and off 6000 times. Everything is fast!!!!! Also I've got a dual boot going on with Redhat 9. It's recognized!!! The only other thing I do wonder about is refresh rate. It's not super high like most CRT's. I don't think eye fatigue is a concern with LCD, but if someone knows different I'd appreciate a comment in here. |

I'm completely satisfied with this purchase. I was a little concerned about dead pixels given that newegg's replacement policy states that you won't get a replacement unless you have 8 or more dead pixels. However, I'm happy to say that I do not have even one dead pixel. My previous monitor was a 19" MAG CRT which I was very happy with. The only noticeable difference is the response time, but that is indicative of the technology and not the monitor/manufacturer. I'm using it with Linux and a Belkin Omni KVM switch and it works great under Linux and Windows XP. |

I've had an Acer 18" Panel for 3 years and it has been wonderful but this blows it out the water. The form factor is awesome. Though this is a 19" it "feels" much smaller than the Acer and since it sits so low it is saves on neck strain. Text is definitely sharper than the Acer. Oh, did not notice any bad pixels. Pictures are very detailed and extremely bright. One caveat, on maximum contrast the picture becomes oversaturated but I can't see why anyone would run it at that level. Get one - you will not be disappointed. |

31, 2004 I purchased my Sceptre about a month ago. I wouldn't want to be without it. The graphics and sharpness is like no other monitor I've ever owned. I would rate it the best and certainly a great value for the money. |

08, 2004 I would have to agree with the past review, I bought one of these Monitors at a local Computer shop, It's Display is very High Quality, Although I really wish I came here first, would have saved me at least 200 dollars...I hate being a compulsive buyer... |

24, 2004 I purchased my Septure KV19 2 months ago and I think it is excellent. I upgraded from an NEC 21” CRT type monitor which also has excellent graphics quality. The Septure in comparison has a bigger display then the 21” due to the mask and reduced scan size to include edge graphics. My cat does not like the new monitor since she can’t lie on top of it soaking up the heat from all of wasted energy expelled from the CRT type monitor. |

05, 2004 I've had this monitor about a month, and I'm extremely pleased with it. I turned it on and have not even had to make any picture adjustments. The picture is bright and crisp. The speakers are only 1-watt, so they are fine for projecting any warning tones your computer is set to make, but they aren't adequate as speakers for music or videos/DVDs. I'm glad I ordered this monitor. It's sure nice visually to be rid of my old monitor. This one is so much smaller on my desk, but has a much bigger picture even though both are 19 |
