Pros: For
the price, with the rebate. Can't beat it. I've always owned
Scepture. Never had a problem. Res. excellent. Previously owned a
Scepture X7.....
Cons: In
the back the DVI cable is a little tight.

    One
Suggestion: Get White Chalk!
Pros: Hi;
it's a nice, very bright LCD monitor at a reasonable price. It also
does the HD standards (though i can't figure, on OS X with a Mini,
how to set 1900x1080; it does do 1680x1050 though).
Cons: Ok,
this is first thing: it's all black plastic includes the controls.
Solution: Get some white or colored chalk and with a flat end run it
along the black on black control moldings to give it contrast. Use
colored chalk if you want to be fancy; this also makes it
returnable/sellable without permanent defacing, and is easier than
using ink since chalk smears well. If you don't do this you'll go
bonkers trying to touch the contol buttons and keep hitting the off
switch.
Other Thoughts:
Wish someone could give me a clue about how the HD resolutions work
on OS X / Mac Mini. The manual isn't all that clear on the "1
through 5" settings for HD.

    beautiful
Pros: At
this price to have DVI input and a size of 20.1"
widescreen...amazing. Very clear picture even with just the VGA
input. Overall brightness looks great and very even. No noticeable
dead pixels.
Cons: If I
had to think of one it would be that it's not very positionable.
It'll tilt up and down slightly, but no up/down or left/right
adjusting.

    Amazing!
Pros:
Great monitor for the price, I've had it for almost a year now and I
couldn't be happier. Resolution is great and the auto adjust is
really nice.
Cons: I
guess some people are saying that it doesn't support 1080 but who
cares? Also I sometimes get a high pitched scream-like noise when
the monitor is off or in standby. I don't think it is the monitor
though, as the same thing happened with a monitor I had before this
one.
Other Thoughts:
No DVI cable? so what. buy one.

    Upgrade
from 17" CRT
Pros: Easy
to setup (3 min). No "ghosting" on CS:Source.
Cons:
Haven't hit it yet.
Other Thoughts:
My criteria for looking for an LCD was smallest response time,
highest contrast ratio and lowest price. For me this LCD was the
best blend for what I wanted to spend. Arrived w/ 0 dead pixels. New
egg, as always, is crazy fast.

    Excellent
value, great picture
Pros: 20"
widescreen hi-def picture for the price of most 17" LCDs. Both DVI
and VGA connections so no adapter needed. Built-in speakers are
handy. No problems yet.
Cons:
Speakers aren't very quality - they just work; changing the volume
takes a few seconds longer than it should. Buttons aren't clearly
marked so it takes some getting used to. Tight fit for wires in the
back. Monitor doesn't tilt back very far.
Other Thoughts:
Bottom line is this is a very quality, high-performance monitor for
the price, despite all of its vices. My 360 is hooked up through the
VGA port and both it and the comp desktop look stunning. For $xx,
I'm amazed. On a side note, Newegg continues to impress me. They dug
up the old rebate page when it was superceded by a new one, and gave
me clear instructions to print out an invoice when I didn't receive
one in the mail after asking them for help. Great service as always.

    wow,
thats all i can say
Pros:
fantastic contrast ratio, HDCP compliant, windows vista certified,
DVI, and VGA, integrated power supply, great brighness, built in
speakers, 5ms response time, great packaging, very well designed,
thin bezel
Cons: the
logo is a bit much, the speakers are garbage, and the volume control
from 1-100% seems to be the exact same volume, 0% being muted.
Other Thoughts:
I didn't buy it for the integrated speakers, and if you dont, you
will LOVE this monitor, i've had two of them running almost
continuously for 7 mos, fantastic buy!

    Great
Monitor
Pros:
Great monitor. The color is great, everything is sharp, and the size
of it is wonderful. I can do so much multitasking with the extra
room. There are a bunch of little details that I never noticed with
my old CRT. If you are looking for a new monitor for beauty and
functionality, then you can't go wrong with this.
Cons:
There is one red stuck pixel in the left-center of the screen. I
couldn't get it out with software and am yet to try to rub it out.
When you first buy the monitor it's like the little pixel is just
staring at you, but after a couple of weeks you forget it's there
and it doesn't bother you.
Other Thoughts:
At least it's a stuck pixel and not a dead one. There is a chance
that I can get it out physically or by running the software some
more, and sometimes they fix themselves over time. It doesn't bother
me that much though, I'm not going to drop it down to 4 eggs just
because of 1 pixel I can only seen on a white screen.

    Awesome
monitor for the price
Pros:
Great resoultion, bright, widescreen, and of course the price.
Cons:
Doesn't come with a DVI cable which you will need if you want to get
the best resolution out of the monitor. Also, the speakers are
horrible so you'll need to buy some.
Other Thoughts:
I've bought a Sceptre monitor before and was very satisfied. This
purchase was no exception. Great quality for the money. The rebate
makes this deal even sweeter! |

    Beautiful
Monitor!
Pros:
Beautiful pixelation and easy wire management. Got it hooked up in
about 5 min. People said they had dead pixels and I was worrying I
would to from past reviews but I didn't have one dead pixel.
Warranty and mail in rebate were easy to retrieve.
Cons: It
was a little bit of a hassel to get the back peice off to connect
the wires but I eventually got it and for some reason my neck doesnt
tilt like it says it does. The instructions don't really help on how
to take off the back thing either.
Other Thoughts:
Good buy either way.

Widescreen LCD Monitor
Pros: 20",
nice picture, comes with a VGA cable and DVI to VGA adapter. Great
Price for screen size.
Cons: If
you plug the speakers in, you will get a little hum. At least it was
so on the one I received. But not too bad since I bought the monitor
for the video and not the audio.

    Satisfied
Buyer
Pros: I
bought 2 of these and have them in dualview. These monitors are
wonderfull, vivid colors, nice details. Nice High Resolutions. Came
in manufactures packaging, and UPS just dropped and ran. Good thing
I live in a good neighborhood, or they would be gone.
Cons: No
DVI cable, but there cheap, less than 10 dollars.
Other Thoughts:
For this price you would be insaine to not buy one. As always where
one is good, two is better. So buy an extra (just tell you wife they
accidently sent 2)

    X20WG
Pros: I've
just upgraded from a 17" CRT monitor and it's such an upgrade.
Great, very vibrant, clear. Inexpensive! It's only 160 after rebate!
No refresh rate problems. Great monitor! No ghosting. It's true
1050p but thats not a big deal. The stand isn't bad pretty study.
You can adjust it nicely. I like how the buttons are under the
monitor instead of on it. No bright blue Sceptre sign, instead it's
printed on. Nice menus.
Cons: 1
dead pixel very bright red. Some bleeding from all sides only
noticeable while on black screen. Poor DVI placement, you kinda have
to bend the DVI cable right at the top to fit it in. But the BIGGEST
problem is that Starcraft is SO stretched out ; ) .
Other Thoughts:
I got rid of the dead pixel and I'm so happy I did. I used the
pressure method. You can check here . This Website helped me. This
monitor is a definite buy especially for the price.

    Happy
with 20.1 HD
Pros: I
just have to say WOW!! this is a HUGE upgrade from my old IBM CRT
monitor! it has a very nice bright back light and awesome wide
screen.
Cons:
there are 2 things that bug me about this monitor and 1 is that mine
came with a stuck pixel :(... not saying that will happen on
everyone but its not so bad because thanks to the internet i have
found ways to fix it!! yay!! another thing is the buttons are not
the best in the world.. they are kind of hard to push and hard to
tell which is which.
Other Thoughts:
overall a SUPER monitor for the price!! i bought it for my Xbox 360
and i just have to say Tony Hawk's Project 8 has never looked so
good.

    Awesome!
Pros:
-Contrast ratio, great blacks. -Brillian colors. -Super bright... the
zero brightness is brighter than highest on my Vaio laptop haha.
-Cool, simple cabinet design. -Light weight thats perfect for wall
mounting. -No ghosting thus far in CS, CoD, or MS Flight Sim... love
it. -Best value for the size and specs under $200 on newegg... I've
only had it going for a few days but I'm sure I'll find more and
more that I like about it!
Cons: -One
red stuck pixel in the center at the top, but I can't really take
off for that since its so common these days. Luckily it happens to
be exactly on the line of separation between the menu bar and the
desktop on my Mac which I use for everything but gaming.. so it
isn't noticeable except on the PC when I'm in a really dark place.
-Buttons are easy to mix up when its dark. -1050 instead of 1080
resolution but I don't really care about that, for the price who
cares!
Other Thoughts:
The speaker issue shouldn't be a con for anyone, I don't know why
people are taking stars for it since most users should be using real
external speakers anyway.

    Great
Monitor
Pros: The
other posters are correct... it says it can display at 1080p/i
resolution but it can not. You need 1920 pixels for 1080i/p this
will only display 1680x1050 so it downscales the 1080 but still
looks perfectly fine. I got this mainly for gaming and was VERY
scared about getting ghosting but I have played Day of Defeat source
and Tribes so far (tribes has a LOT of fast moving objects) and I
notice NO ghosting what so ever. The image is crisp and Im only
running in VGA and the image is crystal clear..i dunno why people
say its fuzzy with dvi because it isnt with me...havent hooked up
DVI cable yet. VERY simply to set up and this thing is just HUGE.
This is a remarkable deal. I was weary at first but this has been
the best electronic buy i have made in years. I come from a 17" CRT
so its a HUGE upgrade. :)
Cons: The
way the stand is constructed... with the DVI cable i got, it is VERY
hard to plug it in. I bet if I was a little mroe patient I would be
able to get it working.. everyone else has but I was anxious to see
this thing in action so i hooked up VGA which looks perfectly fine.
Speakers are a joke, no bass, they are 2w... yeah i hate using
headphones but um.. i prefer to wear them over using these monitors
speakers. No DVI cable was a bummer so I just picked one up but am
Not using it as of right now. Guess you could say its bad that it
really DOESNT display 1080... but it just downscales it so it looks
perfectly fine still. Its a pain to tilt this thing.
Other Thoughts:
I know it looks like I wrote a lot of cons but its really nothing.
This is an EXCELLENT monitor for the price. Under $200 for a 20.1"
widescreen. Its unbelievable.. Get it and you wont regret it.

    Great
for watching HDTV
Pros:
Great resolution, no dead pixels. Fast response rate. Works perfect
with Comcast Sci Atl 8300 HD box (bought a HDMI to DVI-R cable) -
this is at 1080i. Uses 50% the wattage as that of my 20" TV.
Cons:
Potential for burn in, beter to watch TV in zoom/full screen mode
Other Thoughts:
Perfect for the money. Yes, the stand has limited tilt and no
rotation but if I wanted to move this monitor around I would have
bought a separate wall / pedistal mount or would have spent double
the money for a monitor with a fancy stand. Very bright, perfect for
watching TV, may be a bit too bright for looking at Windows white
screen all day (for that I would buy the gamer version which has a
glare coating. |

    WOW!
Nice monitor!
Pros:
Great clarity, color, and brightness. 1680x1050 is a major plus! 5ms
response gives no ghosting in games. No stuck, or dead pixels, looks
great! Got it shipped within 3 days! Sceptre logo does not light up
like others. Sturdy stand, and it has a tilt adjustment.
Cons: No
cons for the monitor.
Other Thoughts:
My first came scratched, one about 1/2 inch long(due to shipping). I
filed an RMA and got my 2nd within a week. Not a big deal, and this
definetly wouldnt prevent my from buying another! The 2nd one is
perfect! NEWEGG ROCKS!

Pros: This

nice and really make games look great. No dead pixels or anything
wrong with mine.
Cons: I
don't really like the base, it's sturdy and what not but I think a

    Great
Monitor for Price
Pros: At
my house in 2 days w/ reg shipping. Newegg is awesome! This monitor
is awesome. 1080p is insane w/ dvi.(it is actually true 1050p but
not a huge difference) It has a nice viewing angle and size for more
than one application at a time. I can write papers for college and
surf web for information while both showing all of the Programs.
Great for photo/video editing. I use Sony vegas and Adobe photoshop
and this is a perfect picture for not making those small mistakes.
Cons:
Speakers are not the best..but the monitor is worth the 209 dollars.
Don't like the small buttons at bottom, you get mixed up on the ones
you are pressing and gets really anoying..but for the most part a
great monitor.
Other Thoughts:
Great for gaming...and with the right cables you can play your xbox
360 or DVD player in 1080p. System:AMD 64 X2 5200, 2gb of Corsair
XMS2's,WD 16 mb cache 250gb sata HD, evga nvidia 7950 512mb
superclocked GPU. Asus M2N SLI Delux, 580 watt PS, LIte on DVD-RW w/

    Perfect
monitor
Pros:
Works perfectly the image quality is perfect only problem is there
is one dead pixel at the top right of the screen but it's not
noticeable unless that area is black and you have to look carefully
to find it. But having dead pixels is a risk you take when you buy a
LCD monitor. Other than that no problems with the screen at all.
Cons:
Doesn't come with a DVI cable.
Other Thoughts:
Just a suggestion I would highly recommend anyone that buys this
monitor to buy a DVI cable if your video card supports it. When I
was still waiting for the DVI to come in the mail I used the VGA
cable that came with the monitor. Some programs and games could not
display certain resolutions and some resolutions were displayed
incorrectly when using the VGA cable. After I installed the DVI
cable no problems and it seemed like the image quality improved a
bit.

Cons: VGA
