Pros: Very bright, vibrant color/contrast

Cons: Bought two; one has a stuck pixel, color display doesn't match despite matching display settings

Other Thoughts: Consider getting a good VESA arm or some other mount. The mounts work, but they wobble like other people said. Definitely pick up a DVI cable. Sometimes the secondary monitor gets messed up and has to be power cycled to display anything, otherwise it's all white.

Pros: Wow. That is all I have to say. No dead/stuck pixels, but I guess that depends on the unit itself. Images look great on it. Games look amazing on it. No ghosting.

Cons: When I turn on my computer it takes a little long to turn on so I can't see my bios load screen so I guess when to hit the key to get into it. Wish it had the ability to change the height.

Other Thoughts: The blue bleeding isn't bad at all. I never notice it, and I am picky about things like that. The stand isn't as bad as people say. No you can't expect a earthquake and have it not wobble, but if you hit your desk, it doesn't wobble.

Pros: Bright crisp picture, Fast response time, Easy setup, Looks awesome for my gaming and movies, and nicely priced. This is my second one purchased and no dead pixels on either.

Cons: The base seems a little lacking, but it is adequate for the job. No DMI Cable. The speakers are of low quality but I bought it for the monitor not the speakers.

Other Thoughts: Overall I am very happy with these monitors. It is a bit irritating that the monitor did not come with both types of cables but the product description does list that it doesn't so it was no surprise to me. Lucky, I had a couple extra cables in storage.

Pros: Bright and clear, great price, exceeded expectations.

Cons: A nit would be that they could have made the labels on the buttons easier to see (now black on black).

Other Thoughts: Out of the 2 monitors that I bought, only one had one dead pixel...and it was nice enough to be very near the edge.

Pros: Never notice any drop in performance e from switching from a CRT to LCD in image in gaming, movies, or much anything else. A nice change to a 16:10 aspect ratio monitor, thats still in the 20" range

Cons: Limited viewing angle and tilt. Speakers aren't good for music. Minor bleeding from the Sceptre logo light(rarely noticable on even a black screen).

Other Thoughts: Had none of the CRT->LCD switching nightmares I read/heard about here. No stuck pixels, ghosting, or other such problems here. Love this monitor, especially after seeing others in display at stores and wincing at the image with ghosting they have.

Pros: All around great monitor. 1000:1 contrast ratio is fairly rare for its class. I run it at a resolution of 1680x1050 and it looks sharp. DVI connection works just fine.

Cons: While I have no doubt in the monitor stand's stability, is does seem prone to rock a little bit. Also, as many other reviewers have mentioned, the SCEPTRE light below the screen is on all the time and has no option to turn it off, but I have NEVER found it to be distracting, and that's in a normal desktop environment and gaming.

Other Thoughts: I used this monitor in conjunction with a machine I built for some family and now that I'm getting ready to build a new rig myself will most likely get it again.

Pros: Nice crisp display at an excellent price. Also, the power light on the front isn't nearly as distracting as one would think. I don't even notice it's on.

Cons: Takes a bit longer to wake up than I'd expected. Not really an issue. Stand is a bit shaky if you jostle the desk; not bad though. Speakers aren't that great either, but why would you use them for anything where sound quality mattered?

Other Thoughts: works perfectly with Ubuntu+Beryl. No complaints at all.

Pros: everything's great now

Cons: Adobe Gamma caused color banding, and I thought it was the monitor.

Other Thoughts: My previous post about color banding was due to Adobe Gamma. After disabling it, the monitor is more inline with other LCDs I have seen. I may buy myself another one pretty soon.

Pros: Price. Quality. Brightness. Size. I am writing this review from the screen. It's not perfect but for the price it deserves a 5. I

Cons: The light leakage really is there on a black screen, but it is not noticeable in games or anything else important. The stand is a bit flimsy, but does the job just fine. I have very little complaints about this monitor.

Other Thoughts: It's a steal for the money. Such an improvement over my old 17" LCD. I have wanted a bigger brighter screen for such a long time and this one has made me very happy. No dead pixels either. Highly recommended. Games are working beautifully, no ghosting what so ever. Loving it.

Pros: Great screen, low price. DVI-D interface. Much eaiser to carry to LAN parties. No dead pixels.

Cons: Not as rugged as a CRT. Mail-in rebate got destroyed in the mail.

Other Thoughts: Don't see much difference between VGA and DVI. I suspect it will be noticable with higher resolutions.

Pros: Awesome monitor. 1000:1 contrast ratio, 1680x1050 resolution, all for a very cheap price tag.

Cons: Doesn't come with a DVI cable in the box, be forewarned.

Other Thoughts: People say the stand is wobbly, and I guess it is, it can shake a lot, but it's never shaken enough to fall over or anything. It's a big monitor, so I'm not listing this as a con.

Pros: Was shipped fast, got here safely and no dead pixels at all. Not a well known brand but it did not disappoint, this monitor makes all of my games fantastic.

Cons: The SCEPTRE LED that people have complained about, but this is HARDLY an issue at all, it doesn't bleed through while you are doing anything, the only time you would notice is if you were staring at the screen while its off(woo?) or watching a dark movie on your monitor. Not even worth taking an egg off for.

Other Thoughts: Running Oblivion and Battlefield 2 on full settings with a 1680x1050 widescreen is a beautiful thing.

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Great Monitor, Even Better Customer Service

Pros: This monitor is wonderful.. the resolution is great and the contrast is great... But the best part is, once the LCD got buggy, Sceptre was the easiest company to work with when it comes to RMA I have ever dealt with... I downloaded the form, filled it out and faxed it in, and within 48 hours I had a RMA number... I sent the monitor in to their RMA department and I got it back, with a brand new LCD, earlier than I expected!!! try that with Sony!

Cons: The blue does bleed through a slight bit, but even at total black I haven't really noticed it... On the replacement LCD there is a stuck green pixel, but it is hardly noticeable.....

Other Thoughts: They don't list it... but this montitor is HDCP compliant... you can use a HDMI->DVI adapter and have your source output 720p and you can have HDTV from just about any source... They make 1080p native displays as well if you search for them...

Pros: No dead pixels. Excellent contrast, crisp display on even on analog, though the difference from digital is noticable. Like the front display light, different from just a simple LED indicator.

Cons: Slight bleed thought to the display from the front indicator light. Doesn't include the digital cable.

Other Thoughts: With both analog and digital inputs you can actually use this display on two seperate computers though you can only select to display one or the other.

Pros: Well the monitor is just about what you expect... I eyes popped when i saw how beautifull this monitor is and how big it is. Im using it right now and I havent had any problems at all.. (except the fact that games are just a little harder to run, but im on my old computer right now, new computer will run much better). The monitor has good size, quality, nice sleek black design. Just overall looks and feels well made. NO DEAD PIXELS!!!

Cons: Shipping for some reason took 5 days... o well, not the monitors fault. The buttons are a little stiff but honestly I dont care about that. Havent had any led bleeding like others.

Other Thoughts: I am very pleased with this monitor and once I can play this monitor with a EVGA 8800 GTS... everything will be much better. Thanks newegg. Go ahead and buy it, great for the price.

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Excellent Monitor

Pros: I bought this monitor a few months ago, and I liked it so much (and it was so inexpensive) that I bought a second one! The color is beautiful (makes my old LCD monitor look like it's dirty), the response rate is excellent (games look great, no ghosting), it's just an awesome monitor all the way around.

Cons: The D-Sub (VGA) cable that comes with it is cheap and doesn't handle noise well. There was some flicker in one of the monitors when I had both hooked up, but I switched it out and everything was beautiful. With a single monitor setup it wasn't a problem though. Oh, and the built in speakers are wimpy, but that was expected.

Other Thoughts: This is a monitor that I'd definitely recommend.

Pros: This is my first LCD monitor and it looks just great, my games that support wide screen look amazing. The size of this monitor is HUGE! I am very happy with it.

Cons: The stand doesn't allow tilt adjustments, so I had to put a book under the front end in order to put it at the angle that I like it. Also on a black screen, light bleed from the top and bottom onto the screen.

Other Thoughts: Great monitor for the price, couldn't have asked for better.

Cons: none

Cons: my 360 doesnt support 1680x1050 but 1280x720 is still amazing. the box it came in had a gash in the lower corner so i was scared at first but nothing that effected the monitor.

Pros: Great resolution and price. Widescreen is the way to go. Received $30 rebate in 60 days.

Cons: The monitor is set very bright at the manufacturer-almost blinding in a dark room. EZ fix in the set-up. For the first month, the monitor would occasionally "blank-out" for about half a second. I believe this was a software/driver issue, as recent MS XP updates have eliminated the problem.

Other Thoughts: Definately would buy again, and I recommend this monitor to others.

Pros: This monitor has a 20.1" display which kicks the crud out of those 19" monitors that are around the same price. It's a brand most people don't know about from my understanding, but it hasn't failed me yet, and I love the DVI!!!

Cons: Order a DVI cable seperatly if needed. Some people say the blue/red light at the bottom of the screen bleeds through, but even at night, I can't see anything when the my computer is off and monitor is still on.

Pros: Delivery was fast, monitor setup was easy and looks great. No DVI cable, but I already had one, so no big deal. (VGA cable only the box.) It's bright, sharp and everything I've played on it looks awesome!!

Cons: I discovered one red pixel tonight. (ARGH!) The other con is the rebate: the dodos in the shipping dept. plastered a sticker right over the top of the serial number and UPC code on the box, both of which you need to collect the $20 rebate. (Expletive!)

Other Thoughts: The size of this monitor works really well on my desktop. The stand is not height-adjustable, but it's VESA mountable, so you can wall-mount it if it sits too low (or just put a book under it). I didn't hookup the speakers so I can't comment on them, but they're hidden well so if you don't use them, you won't care. (Hello, Viewsonic!)
