you don't know or unsure how to install SVC300 PC Camera:
Unpacking and preparation:
1. Unpack the following contents: USB camera,
Internet CommSuite CD, floppy drive disk, microphone,
and User's Guide.
2. Power on the computer and boot to the Windows
Desktop.
Camera and Driver Installation:
1. Plug the USB camera into the USB port .
2. Windows will automatically detect the camera
with notify of New Hardware found USB device.
Please insert the disk labelled "Divio Installation
Disk". Insert the Driver Diskette into Drive A
& then click o.k.
3. Click Next in the Add New Hardware
Wizard.
4. Select Search for the best driver for
your device (recommended)
radio button and click Next.
5. Insert the floppy drive disk into floppy
drive.
6. Ensure the Floppy disk drivers
box is checked and click Next.
7. After Windows finds the location of the
driver, click Next.
8. Windows will notify that the software
installation is finished. Then click Finish.
Verification and Testing:
1. After successfully installing the driver, the
camera should now have a lit green LED.
2. Verify the presence of the device in Windows 98
by clicking (in sequence) Start, Settings,
Control Panel, System, & Device
Manager. There should be a PC Camera Capture
under Imaging Device.
3. Insert the floppy drive disk and click My
Computer, then 3½ Floppy (A:) (in sequence).
4. Click the camera icon named divpcam or pccamera.
5. In the PC-CAM Capture window, click Devices
and select PC Camera Capture. A picture
should now be displayed in the PC-CAM Capture window.
The Camera is now ready for use with NetMeeting,
Internet CommSuite, or other third-party software.
For Microsoft
NetMeeting users : To test using
Netmeeting, make sure under Tools, Video, the Send
option is checked or selected! Then you will get a video
of your self on the Netmeeting software!
NOTE: Be sure to close the PC-CAM window before
proceeding.

- If
you have a Router or Firewall :
If your other party can see you but you cannot see the
other party on your PC and you can see yourself locally
on your PC, your Firewall / Router might be the cause of
the problem.
In order for Netmeeting to works, it requires the
following ports to be open on the Firewall
Port 389, 522, 1503, 1720, 1731
If you have a Firewall, you will have to open up the
above listed ports on your Firewall. Refer to your
Firewall or Router manual to open up the following port
on the Firewall / Router. Opening these ports allow the
video to stream in thru the Router / Firewall.
Otherwise, it is blocked and cannot stream in at the
Firewall. If you don't know how, please contact the
Router/Firewall manufacturer.
