- I connect the regular TV antenna or cable antenna (without using the cable receiver) to my X7SV-Naga and I have no picture. What should I do?
Please do the following:
1. Select the cable service type by using the User’s Controls on the monitor: activate the OSD – select “miscellaneous” – select “cable” – select cable service type.
2. Scan the TV channels by using the User’s Controls on the monitor: activate the OSD – select “video” – select “tv-scan” (refer to User’s Manual Page 25)
- My X7SV-Naga has no video, what should I do?
Please check if the power LED light on the LCD:
A. If it is “off”, please do the following steps:
1. Please try to connect the power cord to a different outlet.
2. Please check if the power LED light on the AC adapter; if it’s off, then you may need to send the AC adapter only for service.
3. If it still doesn’t work, then you may need to send it for service
B. If the power LED light on the LCD is “on”:
Please make sure you select the proper video source/input mode (Please refer to the User’s Manual Page 13):
1. If you use the X7SV-Naga for PC monitor:
· Please make sure you connect it to the proper connector (VGA/DVI connector) – please refer to the User’s Manual Page 9.
· Please make sure you select “VGA PC (analog signal)” mode or “DVI PC (digital signal)” mode by using the operation controls on the LCD or the remote control – for operation controls, please refer to the User’s Manual Page 13 and for remote control, please refer to the User’s Manual Page 5.
· Generally, you need to set it up at 1280x768 @ 60Hz – for detailed supported mode, please refer to the Addendum sheet.
2. If you use the X7SV-Naga for TV:
· Please make sure you connect it to the proper connector (antenna/coaxial connector) – please refer to the User’s Manual Page 9.
· Please make sure you select “TV” mode by using the operation controls on the LCD or the remote control – for operation controls, please refer to the User’s Manual Page 20 and for remote control, please refer to the User’s Manual Page 5.
Note:
- If you connect regular TV antenna with coaxial cable connector, you need to pre-scan
the TV channels on the LCD; then you can select the channels by using the operation controls on the LCD or the remote control – please refer to User’s Manual Page 21 or Page 5 respectively. Some channels may not be accepted due to the strength of its signal. For Digital Satellite, you CANNOT connect the coaxial cable directly to the LCD without using the Satellite Receiver – please check with your satellite service provider.
- If you connect Cable TV or Satellite TV by using its receiver, you need to set the LCD
on Channel 3 by using the operation controls (please refer to the User’s Manual Page
21) or the remote controls (please refer to the User’s Manual Page 5). Then, you need
to use the cable/satellite receiver to change the channels.
3. If you use the X7SV-Naga for monitor output (connected to DVD Player, VCR, Video Camera, Video Game Console, Digital Cable Receiver, Digital Satellite receiver)
· Please make sure you connect it to the proper connector (AV, S-Video, or Component connector) – please refer to the User’s Manual Page 10.
· Please make sure you select “SV/AV/CMP” mode by using the operation controls on the LCD or the remote control – for operation controls, please refer to the User’s Manual Page 27 and for remote control, please refer to the User’s Manual Page 5.
Note:
- If you connect Cable TV or Satellite TV by using its receiver, you need to set the LCD on Channel 3 by using the operation controls (please refer to the User’s Manual Page 21) or the remote controls (please refer to the User’s Manual Page 5). Then, you need to use the cable/ satellite receiver to change the channels.
- How do I get a full screen on my X7SV-Naga?
a. If you connect it to a computer, please set the resolution to 1280x768.
b. If you use other video sources, please make sure set the ratio to 16:9 by using the User’s Controls on the monitor: active the OSD – select “Miscellaneous” – select “Ratio” – select “16:9”. (Please refer to User’s Manual page 19).
