If you have S1000*, S3000* notebook models with the TDS2P docking station model, please follow the suggestions below to troubleshoot the problem.

(*: Models with an "S" or "T" suffix indicate respectively a dual scan or active matrix LCD screen type.)

When the LCD screen is not displaying all the colors,
    1. Ensure that the notebook is fully pushed in and docked into the docking station. Secure the notebook with the two docking station clips. If the clips are loose, you may tighten each clip with a Phillips screwdriver. Any slight deviation as to the notebook position will cause this problem.
    2. Clean the docking ports on both the notebook and docking station with a Q-tip dampened in rubbing alcohol. Allow to dry before attempting reconnection. Dirt and dust will inhibit proper connection.
    3. Check the external monitor port on the docking station for any possible broken pins.
    4. Check the external monitor plug for possible bent or missing pins.
