Liked the look and size. Had some difficulty with the screen flipping to colors after about a week. After reading the manual, checking online trouble shooting; called the company's help desk. He told us how to correct the problem and all has been well since.

This TV's great. I use it in my RV and the plus is, it works off DC, as well as AC power. I use it with a DC adapter plugged directly to DC and it works great. The features are also a plus, I have it set to turn off if I fall asleep while watching, without having to remember to use the sleep timer. The only feature I wish it had, is the option to activate HDMI CEC, also the feature states it's not compatible with USB hubs, well it is compatible with USB hubs. Since I got this I've been using a Hub for multiple devices, with no issues. Maybe it's the type of hub I'm using, but it works. I'm very happy with it so far, and I highly recommend this TV. I have 2 TV's in my RV, I'm considering this brand in a DC 24" to replace my existing 24", when I can afford it, and if they have one available in that size that works off DC.

A respectable brand

This is the second TV I have by this company. The other is a 42". On both the HD is great. The color bright . The sound is good. The 42"is on cable and this one is on an indoor antenna.

This was a great purchase for the price. . When we purchased, we could use a straight cable hookup to watch, but if you have Spectrum, you will now need a cable box to view programs. Sound could be a little problem if not viewing in close range. This is used in a office and we have no issues. Thinking about ordering another, but will wait for a better sale price.

3rd Sceptre HDTV Purchased

Last year we needed a new television for our living room and found the 40" on the Walmart website, took a chance and ordered it, free pick up in the store, fit perfectly in the space we had. Great Picture, good sound. We then ordered another Sceptre 40" for our daughter and her family for Christmas - they love it. This past month, our family room television died so we ordered the 19" Sceptre. Easy to hook up, great directions, great picture. Highly recommend!

Great value for the money.

I bought this, just to have something to watch while I repaired a sound problem with my 40" tv. I hooked it up to my indoor antenna and I love it. I've been watching it now for two weeks and have yet to fix the bigger tv, because I really don't miss it. Picture quality is excellent and as others have noted, the sound is tinny, but after a few days of watching it, I was fine with it. The tv I have is not the one in the picture. Mine is the E195BV-SMQR. I think it's a newer model than the one shown. You can check it out on Sceptres website. This is not my first Sceptre tv and it won't be my last. And 8 bucks for a 2 year extended warranty plan? It's a no brainer.

Perfect for a Den

Small lightweight awesome picture and all the features you would need Speakers sound tinny but add your own and if its a problem it is solved and the price cannot b beat. Took our old 13" heavy vcr tv combo out and set this on on the wall bracket and it works perfect

What a great value.

My 40" Sceptre LCD tv started having sound problems after many years of use and since I decided to repair the issue, I just wanted to have something to watch while I repaired the big one. I decided to go with this 19" Sceptre LED tv. I hooked up to an antenna, put it just below where my big tv sits and WOW, I‘m impressed. The picture is excellent. Yes the sound is a little tinny compared to my bigger set, but after some adjustments and a few days watching it, I can honestly say I don‘t miss my bigger tv. I will fix my other tv, but I‘m not in a hurry to do so. This little tv fits my entertainment needs just fine. I have had a couple Sceptre tv‘s for a number of years now and I don‘t have a bad word to say about them.

I have not been able to get the small line stating "Captioning sponsored by" (black line with yellow printing near the top) off the screen, and it is somewhat distracting.

I was looking for low cost TV. It was for a guest bedroom. I found the right one on line. Price,size and brand. I ordered it and it arrived at the Walmart store nearest my home. It took me longer to find a parking spot than it took me to get my TV. The TV is exactly as I saw on line. and it fits just perfectly on the small cabinet in the room. I feel I got a very good buy and am very happy with the TV.

Sceptre 19" TV

This was a replacement for my kitchen TV that only lasted 4 1/2 yrs. Althouth the sound is not exceptional it does work better mounted on the wall rather than on the stand. The color is fine for what is needed. It is a good deal for the money.

Q:The video card driver is not up to date, how can I fix this? ?
A:

  1. Find out what card you have by going into the Display Settings of your Operating System.  You will be able to see your video card name.
  2. Most video cards are from two companies, nVidia and AMD (formally ATI). You will need to download the latest driver to update your card. Here are the links:

    • nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    • AMD (formally ATI):  http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

    • Note: If your video card is not from nVidia, please search for the card on Google (www.google.com) or  visit www.sceptre.com for additional technical support and Live Chat with Customer Tech Support.

  3. Download the newest driver and remove the old driver from the system.  You will also need to remove the plug and play detected monitor driver.
  4. Reboot your computer and install the newest video card driver.
  5. You will need to reboot an additional time (reboot twice) for the system to detect the monitor, then you can adjust the monitor resolution.
