Excellent Quality Sceptre TVs

I manage a tv rental program at a Washington State prison. TV‘s in this type of environment HAVE to be quality so that they last. I have 19 of the E205BV-SMQCC in my program, and 81 of the E185BV‘s {before it was discontinued} and I can attest to their quality and durability. Picture and sound are excellent and the tv‘s are very well constructed. Customer service with Sceptre is outstanding as well. Looking forward to purchasing many more of the E205BV-SMQCC‘s as they become availible.

Very pleased with picture and audio

Bought this TV for my kitchen. Very pleased with picture. Some people have complained about "tinny" sound or low volume. Be sure your audio isn't set for "surround" sound. That will correct both problems. My audio is set for about 30% volume and it sounds fine. For the money, I wasn't exactly expecting Bose speakers!

Sceptre TV Review

Good picture, tinny but acceptable audio, easy to connect. My only complaint would be when adding/deleting stations from the memory you have scroll through the menu for each individual selection every time you make a change, instead of dropping down automatically to the next station to be added/deleted. My nickname does not reflect upon my opinion of this product.

Great TV / Computer Monitor for Great Price

Got this mainly to use for composite video input on vintage PCs. Has great pic and composite inputs work well. Also have been using this as an HDMI monitor and fairly happy with it. Sound isn't that great but not really using it for my purposes. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, small, bargain of a TV / PC Monitor.

This is a great tv for the price. I use it in the kitchen. This is my second Sceptre TV and I would recommend it to everyone.

Good with AT&T, etc. but not with antenna

I like the tv. The picture is good. The sound is a bit tinny though. Initially I had trouble with setting it up with AT&T so I put it on an indoor antenna. It would only pick up two channels where it should have picked up forty or more. I tried another antenna. Same result. I finally did get it set up with AT&T and problem solved. However, if I do want to back to an antenna, it would be a problem.

Great little tv using for security cameras, great picture. Easy ordering on line and easy pick up in store. I think the only thing to make pick up easier would be to have this pick up station closer to the front door for those of us who don't need to shop in store. First time using on line shopping/pickup, I will use this service again.

Q:The video card driver is not up to date, how can I fix this? ?
A:

  1. Find out what card you have by going into the Display Settings of your Operating System.  You will be able to see your video card name.
  2. Most video cards are from two companies, nVidia and AMD (formally ATI). You will need to download the latest driver to update your card. Here are the links:

    • nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    • AMD (formally ATI):  http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

    • Note: If your video card is not from nVidia, please search for the card on Google (www.google.com) or  visit www.sceptre.com for additional technical support and Live Chat with Customer Tech Support.

  3. Download the newest driver and remove the old driver from the system.  You will also need to remove the plug and play detected monitor driver.
  4. Reboot your computer and install the newest video card driver.
  5. You will need to reboot an additional time (reboot twice) for the system to detect the monitor, then you can adjust the monitor resolution.
