Good buy.

TV is great. Haven't used the DVD yet, but TV picture is very good, set up was easy into DirecTV system. Only the sound is not the best; "tinny" sound, but we plan to use a separate sound system anyway, which will solve that problem. We are satisfied overall.

Sceptre E245BD-FHD 24"

I have bought two other Sceptre TV's and had great success with them. This TV was purchased for our camper and it has great picture and was easy to setup. I would recommend this brand.

Ok for the price

Bought it to replace the bulky old 20" tube TV in the bedroom. It's nice to get rid of that bulky thing and to have a DVD player built in, one less item needed! I did expect a sharper picture but it's okay. The sound isn't great, sort of tinny. the onscreen display is really small to read from across the room. Maybe there's a way to enlarge it that I haven't discovered yet. But for the price it's a nice little set. I'll keep it!

Excellent picture for the money

I am really happy with my Sceptre. I like 1080p vs 720p because the picture quality is so much sharper. the quality of this TV is just great!! I was very pleased to find a 1080p with built in DVD player for this price!!

Awesome tv for the price

I was looking for a new tv for my bedroom. I did some research looking for something inexpensive but decent. Well this tv has exceeded my expectaions. I've never heard of the brand but after reading the reviews and seeing how many 4 and 5 stars there were I figured I would try it. It's works great, the picture looks good and when you connect small speakers it's the best. The sound is ok but when you have a fan on or some noise it can make it hard to hear. I hooked my computer speakers to it and it's perfect.

Great Monitor & HDTV

I use this for both a computer monitor using HDMI 2 connected to my computer and HDTV on HDMI 1 using a cable box. For best audio, adjust settings via onscreen menu for your personal taste. The video quality is excellent for both as a computer monitor and for TV. For best TV viewing, use HD channels. I would recommend to family and friends!

Perfect Choice for Our Bedroom TV in Our RV

Works perfect in our camper. We use it in our bedroom and it also mounts on the outside of the camper so we can watch the Red Sox on the road! Excellent picture and the sound is great. Would buy a second one in a heartbeat.

Excellent Value!

This television is a great value. To have the added convenience of the DVD player built in is certainly an advantage since it is being used on a boat and space is at a premium ! I mounted it and it fits nicely up against the wall out of the way. Great picture. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a small TV for tight spaces

Excellent TV

A really good value and easy to set up. The color comes through beautifully on the TV and DVD player. I have been able to link it to both my laptop and tablet through the HDMI cable at different times.

Q:The video card driver is not up to date, how can I fix this? ?
A:

  1. Find out what card you have by going into the Display Settings of your Operating System.  You will be able to see your video card name.
  2. Most video cards are from two companies, nVidia and AMD (formally ATI). You will need to download the latest driver to update your card. Here are the links:

    • nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    • AMD (formally ATI):  http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

    • Note: If your video card is not from nVidia, please search for the card on Google (www.google.com) or  visit www.sceptre.com for additional technical support and Live Chat with Customer Tech Support.

  3. Download the newest driver and remove the old driver from the system.  You will also need to remove the plug and play detected monitor driver.
  4. Reboot your computer and install the newest video card driver.
  5. You will need to reboot an additional time (reboot twice) for the system to detect the monitor, then you can adjust the monitor resolution.
