I bought this tv for my 13 YO to play Xbox and Watch his shows or DVDs, it had a great picture and can do what he wants done, timer for going to sleep is perfect and he loves watching sports in his room and playing xbox

Excellent Flat Screen

Before I go on I first want to comment on the packaging When I opened the box the TV was packed so good...not a mark on it. The hook up was a snap! Very easy to get the picture you want and very clear! This TV is an excellent buy....thinking of buying another for my enclosed padio. For the clearness and the size of this TV it is an excellent value. By the way....thanks for the screw driver :-)

Picture

I just bought this TV after doing some research on the brand name. ratings were good so I ended up buying it. Very good picture quality and light as a feather. Easy to mount on the wall. The only thing I would change is the speaker system. If the sound would be on the outer edges of the TV instead of under it, the sound quality would be better. Hooked up some outside speakers to it and it sounds a whole lot better. Other than that it a great buy for the money.

Sceptre E245BV-FHD 24" 1080p

I purchased this August of 2014 for my father after his old crt tv decided it was time to quit. I did some quick research and based on reviews features and cost decided on this one. It did not disappoint. Easy set up of cable, DVD and a VCR as he has lots of taped movies. The Sceptre works great and we have had no problems. The sound was ok but we did add a pair of $10.00 computer speakers we had to improve the sound, all the new flat screen tvs are weak in this area. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality low cost feature loaded television/monitor.

Great little set

I bought this 24" led tv about 8 months ago and have had no problems with it. The picture is great, and the sound is plenty for a small room. It has lots of inputs as well. Great price and value.

Good buy for the price

I bought this tv for my kids room and is pleased with the picture quality but i have reservations about the speaker sound quality but i will buy some speakers to enhance the sound quality since is does provide that added feature other wise a good buy.

Real nice TV

I caught this model on sale so price was the main reason I purchased it as I had never heard of "Sceptre" products. Upon receiving the TV I‘m really pleased with it as the picture is brilliant and it has ample connection choices to add devices (computer, dvd player, speakers, etc) Time will really be the test now to see how long it lasts as it will be used daily as a computer monitor and tv viewing.

Nice 24" LED TV / PC Monitor

I bought this a month ago from TigerDirect and very pleased with the LED TV. Has plenty of brightness and contrast. I currently use it as a Computer Monitor. Some of the letters have a bluish color to it, but I‘m happy with it. For the price I paid I‘m completely happy. I would buy another.

Q:The video card driver is not up to date, how can I fix this? ?
A:

  1. Find out what card you have by going into the Display Settings of your Operating System.  You will be able to see your video card name.
  2. Most video cards are from two companies, nVidia and AMD (formally ATI). You will need to download the latest driver to update your card. Here are the links:

    • nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    • AMD (formally ATI):  http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

    • Note: If your video card is not from nVidia, please search for the card on Google (www.google.com) or  visit www.sceptre.com for additional technical support and Live Chat with Customer Tech Support.

  3. Download the newest driver and remove the old driver from the system.  You will also need to remove the plug and play detected monitor driver.
  4. Reboot your computer and install the newest video card driver.
  5. You will need to reboot an additional time (reboot twice) for the system to detect the monitor, then you can adjust the monitor resolution.
