24" TV with built-in DVD

I bought this TV for my other half‘s son to watch workout DVDs. This worked out perfect. There isn‘t any cable where he lives. Now he can exercise all he wants to stay healthy. Sceptre has great customer service too.

Nice HD Viewing w DVD built in

Sceptre has been around for a long time, first knew them with their computer monitors. I bought the HDTV LED DVD Combo and, after lowering the Contrast and Increasing the Backlight and Brightness the picture was spectacular. With any new HDTV there is need of making user settings and adjustments for the perfect picture. The DVD player and instructions also had DVD‘s playing properly once the settings for DVD (picture) are also adjusted for that right combination for viewing. All functions on the remote control makes it easy to switch between DVD and TV. Also, with the built in digital tuner and indoor antenna, many local digital air signals came in and were great besides cable TV . Twice as many shows to consider and watch. Adjusting the user friendly settings is a must, lowering the color and contrast while increasing Backlight and Brightness had this one a winner !

A Child's Dream!!!

I purchased this to replace my daughter‘s TV and boy am I a happy camper. She is happy that she can play her Wii again and plus we can save space because we do not need to connect the dvd player. The cost was a steal for a 24" and the sound and video quality is far better that the Panasonic that she had before. If you are looking for a tv or one to place in your kitchen well look no further this is the unit for you. Also purchased one for my son since he is older now. I highly recommend this product.

Q:The video card driver is not up to date, how can I fix this? ?
A:

  1. Find out what card you have by going into the Display Settings of your Operating System.  You will be able to see your video card name.
  2. Most video cards are from two companies, nVidia and AMD (formally ATI). You will need to download the latest driver to update your card. Here are the links:

    • nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    • AMD (formally ATI):  http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

    • Note: If your video card is not from nVidia, please search for the card on Google (www.google.com) or  visit www.sceptre.com for additional technical support and Live Chat with Customer Tech Support.

  3. Download the newest driver and remove the old driver from the system.  You will also need to remove the plug and play detected monitor driver.
  4. Reboot your computer and install the newest video card driver.
  5. You will need to reboot an additional time (reboot twice) for the system to detect the monitor, then you can adjust the monitor resolution.
