FABULOUS ! FABULOUS ! FABULOUS

MY MAIN REQUIREMENT WAS: THAT IT HAD THE CENTER STAND ! SCEPTRE, PLEASE MAKE MORE TV‘S WITH A CENTER STAND ! I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT A LARGER TV/DVD IF ANY HAD THE CENTER STAND. I originally wanted the Gold color in this same tv, but it sold out. After finding that it had all the features i wanted so much I ended up buying the pink. It is truly a bubblegum pink shade. I AM NOW A DEVOTED TO THIS COMPANY FOR LIFE ! This tv has THE BEST FEATURES I‘VE EVER SEEN IN A TV !!!! 1) WOW ! Finally a tv where the on screen volume bar DOESN‘T BLOCK SUBTITLES! 2) You can listen to DVDS in the language you select, yet get the subtitles in another language of your choice ! Wow ! FABULOUS ! (especially for foreign film buffs) 3) It has a great antenna (grid system type) for over the air broadcasts, it picks up a lot of channels( but you still need your own antenna). 4) Very important to me, I needed a tv that I could plug in headphones, I also use a 10 ft extension cord to plug in a speaker by my lounge chair when I‘m not using headphones. I live in an apartment building with very thin walls, I have been a lifelong night owl. 5) HAS "AVL" - AUTO VOLUME LEVELING !!! Meaning it cuts out that volume increase that commercials still have although it‘s illegal. SCEPTRE: I would add that if you could find a way to KEEP THE BASS LEVELS THE SAME BETWEEN COMMERCIALS AND WHATEVER SHOW YOUR WATCHING, now is the next issue to be tackled. They really overdue the increased bass on commercials now. 6) I LOVE ALL THE OPTIONS IN THE REMOTE, On Screen TV Guide, CHOICES for Sound - believe it or not I dislike too much Bass, it hurts my ears. CONS: 1) I wish the stand was taller because I like my tv placed higher up, the low stand blocks the sensor/ angle for the remote to work easily. (I have my tv tilted slightly backwards for the remote to work better at a higher angle). 2) There is volume loss when playing DVDS. But I just crank the volume up to

Q:The video card driver is not up to date, how can I fix this? ?
A:

  1. Find out what card you have by going into the Display Settings of your Operating System.  You will be able to see your video card name.
  2. Most video cards are from two companies, nVidia and AMD (formally ATI). You will need to download the latest driver to update your card. Here are the links:

    • nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    • AMD (formally ATI):  http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

    • Note: If your video card is not from nVidia, please search for the card on Google (www.google.com) or  visit www.sceptre.com for additional technical support and Live Chat with Customer Tech Support.

  3. Download the newest driver and remove the old driver from the system.  You will also need to remove the plug and play detected monitor driver.
  4. Reboot your computer and install the newest video card driver.
  5. You will need to reboot an additional time (reboot twice) for the system to detect the monitor, then you can adjust the monitor resolution.
