So far so good. My old TV was going out after 24 yrs and I will miss the 36 high picture. I like the picture on the new one except I miss the height of the old picture. It was easy to connect to power and cable. It was on sale at WM online, so I ordered it. All is as advertised.

Christmas Gift

Have been replacing older model tv‘s in the house. Purchased as a Christmas present for the wife. Very easy setup with no problems encountered. Packaged much better than other tv‘s that I have had shipped which were returned for damages, sorry Amazon. Very good quality picture and sound is adequate for an average size room. Built in DVD player is nice option to control space issues. Reluctant at first due to unknown track history of Sceptre products but for the price and quality would buy again....They even supplied small screw driver to put base together...nice touch.

Great unit for the money

Ive had more expessive tvs and the al last about 4 years, for the money this thing is great the service is alsome, and Ive had it for two years so i bought a 50 inch to go with it. bought these two for the price of one 50 in name brand, at this rate this company will be a name soon

Great Customer Service

We bought the first Sceptre and we had no over the air signal while the rest of the features worked. The Sceptre technician went through the tests with me and found out that the unit was faulty. They promptly sent us a new one which couldn‘t work better. Sharp picture and very good sound Thank you Sceptre!

Great price and the picture is good and clear but the sound quality is not as good as it could be but I would recommend this to a friend especially if they have a sound bar.

Q:The video card driver is not up to date, how can I fix this? ?
A:

  1. Find out what card you have by going into the Display Settings of your Operating System.  You will be able to see your video card name.
  2. Most video cards are from two companies, nVidia and AMD (formally ATI). You will need to download the latest driver to update your card. Here are the links:

    • nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    • AMD (formally ATI):  http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

    • Note: If your video card is not from nVidia, please search for the card on Google (www.google.com) or  visit www.sceptre.com for additional technical support and Live Chat with Customer Tech Support.

  3. Download the newest driver and remove the old driver from the system.  You will also need to remove the plug and play detected monitor driver.
  4. Reboot your computer and install the newest video card driver.
  5. You will need to reboot an additional time (reboot twice) for the system to detect the monitor, then you can adjust the monitor resolution.
