Great picture, poor sound
I had been looking at several inexpensive 50-55" 4k options. Amazon had this one for $349 with 2-day Prime shipping. So, I went ahead and ordered. The picture quality seems to be great so far. Colors look smooth in 720p and 1080i/p. I haven't tried anything in 4k yet as I don't have a device currently that exports that resolution. The portion that was skimped on was sound. No amount of EQ tweaking can fix the lack of bass and the sound of overdriven drivers if you try to introduce any low end on the EQ. The midrange is not ear friendly either unless tweaked way low. I have a Phillips 32" that sounds better without any tweaking. So a soundbar/HT system is a must with this unit if you have working ears. Overall, I would buy another. Just would pair it with a good external speaker system.

I've experienced this tv for only a week but I'm highly impressed with the picture quality for the price. The sound is good. I'm still tweeting it to suit my ears. I would highly recommend to purchase. Don't pay for a name brand. This is just as good, I feel not better.
