Great curved TV for the price
Product didn't come too long, TV was well protected and packaged, was kind of tricky to remove box, packaging and the legs but I put it on a TV mount. Turned on TV nothing unusual, the picture is amazing with the HD programming, the sound is clear and punchy, no distortion, for the price it's a great value.
Not sure what to think but so far 4 stars
For $600, GREAT deal. But, is it good? I'm not sure. I first set it up with my XBOX 1 and played Madden 19 and COD BO2. Decent picture for those games, but neither are 4K. TODAY, (9/9) I plugged it into my Dish receiver which displays HD, but the picture looks like straight up crap. No way does it look like sharp 4K, BUT, it may be because FOX is playing the Giants game in 1080p, which means the picture is being expanded 65inches and the picture is being shredded. I have to actually test it with 4K content. I DID, use my XBOX to access Youtube and I played a 4K video of the Amazo Jungle (something you expect to be playing in the big box store) and it looked quite nice. I just wish the Giants game looked a lot nicer, then I could have seen just how bad the Jags beat them by.
This is a big tv with a beautiful picture. Because it's curved there is basically no reflection which is a big plus.
My tv arrived fast but there was some damage on the box and that's when i started to worry. After opening the outer and the inner box there was no visible damage on the tv. However when i turned the tv on there were three "galaxies" on the screen with a total of 70-80 dead pixel (see attached picture with one of the "galaxies"). I think it happened during the shipping.
I really wanted to have this tv but i had to return it. I wanted to exchange it and get a good one but it was out of stock already.
This TV was back on stock so i ordered it again hoping for the best. I got it in two days. There was no damage on the box at all.
After i took the TV out of the box i was shocked. It was cracked basically everywhere. From corner to corner, top to bottom and side to side.
I didn't even take the protective plastic off the screen. I Started the return process and the TV was at the closest UPS location in an hour.
Just a side note, the first TV was delivered by UPS (with the galaxies) and the second one with FedEx.
Now i think i'm done. I really really wanted this TV but i'm tired of playing this game. So the one star actually goes for the carriers.
I have a smaller Sceptre 4K TV and this would've been my ultimate upgrade.
So sad :(
Am i crazy or just obsessed with this TV? Who knows. But when the price dropped to $499 i had to give it one more shot.
And it happened!!! The TV came in flawless condition. Not a single dead pixel, no scratch or cracks. The picture is beautiful.
The default sharpness is set way too high so if you see some flickering in 4K just turn the sharpness down to about 15-19.
