This TV is perfect just what we were looking for to go in our home theater after the projector fail. The picture is beautiful and the sound is not bad but we do have a sound bar.
It is a nice TV.. ALTHOUGH, you have to put in a lot of effort not to damage the screen. The screen is more like a computer screen. One wrong touch and, it will BROKEN...
I hooked up streaming 4K video from my Roku ultimate and OMG what a SUPER picture. The picture quality is great on all forms of input. The price was really a special buy for only 999.99 . The 4K viewing is really great. This is a grand 75-inch TV. I couldn't be happier.
Love it just what we needed
What a massive beast of a TV! When I went to pick it up from the store they had 65-inch and 70-inch TVs in the middle of the floor ranging from $850 - almost $1000. When I was walking the TV to the front I must have got stopped 3 times "wow that TV is huge, how much". When I told them $1000 everyone was in shock. This TV is a no-frills 4K 75-inch TV. No fancy smart TV features and weak speakers. I don't think anyone buying a flat screen these days expects good speakers. That's what sound bars or for, you can't have it both ways, slim TV and big sound. The attached photos do this thing no justice. Just be prepared to purchase a new TV stand. Legs are 65 inch distance
Great TV for the price ... It's even better now for you (if you are reading this review because I paid $1200). Easy hookup. I had no problem sync'ing my DirecTV remote - so I use only 1 remote [no idea why another reviewer had problems; model wasn't listed by DirecTV but you can still setup the remote - just follw the instructions!]. Great picture and sound is good. I have this mounted in a large room [22' x 40'] on the wall and have no problems seeing or hearing my TV. Love it for the price. I don't need or use Smart-TV functions because we don't have fast Internet due to where we live - metered HughesNet ... so I can't comment on using it with Roku, NetFlicks, etc .... My home theater is a 3D projection setup with 175" diag. - I use 10 speakers+Yamaha receiver for 7.2 surround sound on that gig !!!
looks great. Netflix 4K is awesome. Surround sound optical output works great. Huge TV for lowest possible price. Doesn't have HDR but I can live with that. 60 mhz refresh rate is fine, too. Content is the limiting factor, so no reason to get a fancier TV. I don't know of any content at greater than 60 mhz. And 4K content is hard to find. HDR content is even harder to find. Verizon and Optimum TV are only 1080i or 720p.
it came broken and walmart had another and exchanged it with no problem and i really enjoy, of course the picture is not as clear as they advertise but for the money it is good.
Best 75" TV value $999 (I shopped a bunch). Great Brand, Picture & Sound. Remember, your picture quality is only as good as the source or channel. Blu Ray DVD was much better than a regular DVD on my older DVD player. I'll be trying a new Upscaling Sony DVD player soon. No issues with delivery or with any damage. WalMart.com was the place to buy stuff this year, it beat Amazon easily.
First off this is the second one of these tv's I purchased. The first one had a large red stripe on left side of screen running vertically. I returned it for refund instead of a replacement because I work nights & sleep days. I can't have trucks show up in the middle of the day to p/u or deliver! I waited a few months & waited for the price to drop a little then purchased it with the extended warranty again. I have had it for a few weeks now, so far my family and I love it. I had a roku premium+ I use on it they work together perfectly! If you get one that is damaged or faulty don't give up, that happens with all brands be it shipping or manufacturing error!!!
G R E A T PICTURE!! Setup and connections were easy. Works great with my DIRECTV! No need for extras. But I DID Order some HDMI extended wires for connection to my PC. Great product and the price is more then worth it. (-_o)
Have had this TV for 3 months now, and very happy with the picture and sound. Thought at this price level I may need to buy a sound bar, but I've been satisfied with the sound. Great value.
Great TV for the price. Huge, crystal clear picture.
The functions of this TV are basic but the quality of the picture and the value are the best I ever seen!
Awesome tv for the price .
These units were an great deal and delivered well on the application. We used two units mounted on the wall as displays to replace the projected words that we were using for worship service and the sermon notes. The detail and colors are excellent. I liked the displays so much that I later made a purchase of the exact same TV for personal use at home. I enjoy the clarity and I have not seen a better deal yet.
I got this when the price dropped to $1099. It took about a month and a reorder to actually get it because shipping site-to-store was incredibly SLOW. But for the price, this TV is great! Sure, the panel isn't perfectly uniform, but is really only noticeable when the screen is a solid color. It is a great budget TV. Overall the colors look good. I use a universal remote, a receiver and a roku, so I can't really comment on the TV speakers or the TV interface as I don't use it. It is not a smart TV. I was a little hesitant to get this TV, but so far I am very happy. I did get the extended warranty so if it does die early, I'm covered.
The U750CV is a basic TV. It does not have any "smart" features, so get this if the only thing you do with your TV is turn it on. It does have a tuner though, for watching local over-the-air channels. For Netflix or Hulu, you will need something like a Roku or Apple TV type device. I have not tried any 4K content yet. I got 4K because I came from a 82" DLP and did not want to see individual pixels of a fixed panel. So, with scaling, a single 1080p pixel becomes 4 pixels on a 4K TV. Digital artifacts in low bitrate content are noticeable on this display. Using content encoded in h264 with a quality of 17 or 18 looks fine though. On a completely black screen there is noticeable light bleed all over the screen. But that is only visible on black loading screens in a completely dark room. Under no circumstances have I noticed issues while watching content. I turned down the brightness and gamma and was able to get rid of most of the digital noise....stock the TV was set to very bright and you could see a lot of macro blocking in dark scenes. Not the best display, but for 1/2 the price, it's very much acceptable. I got the 4 year warranty as well. The price was very reasonable for 4 years of coverage. If it's still working after 4 years, it's probably good for a while.
I have 5 of these sceptre tv's, from 40" to the 75" and they are great sets! Originally, I bought a 40" for the garage (less expensive I could find). That was about 5 years ago and it still looks like new. Great picture! I bought the 75" due to price, was actually looking to buy the 65" but it turned out well. Had this set since March and it's on everyday. If you are looking for any size tv, I recommend the sceptre. A great price and great quality picture!
I have owned many name brand tvs and I do not find any difference in picture quality and setup was a breeze and I had to try little bit for connecting to my home theatre reciever for the sound via HDMI4 ARC channel but all good now enjoying the big 75 inch screen.
My 64" Samsung Plasma was breeding vertical lines only after 2 years of use. This 75" spectre is an amazing value. I have it mounted above my fire place and the viewing angles are terrific! Can see a bright clear picture no matter where you are in the room even directly below it. Using a fire tv to watch 4k content from netflix shows a great picture! I only wish I had bought 2!
