Good picture, bad sound

I bought this TV recently and have had no issues with it so far. The picture is decent. However, the sound is very very poor. You will definitely need a sound bar.

GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE.

DAY 1,Price, Price, and quality, its current modern design. since its my day 1 I cant say anything about durability but hopping for the best I do take well care of all my electronics. Picture is perfect, just sound is a bit poor, ports are just the most common and enough for average use, remote control very light weight and and easy to use. bought it at Walmart online 260, so pricewise Im very please!

Great TV but be warned

Alright so this is an honest review on this TV. I ordered the TV on the 4th and picked it up from the store yesterday on the 8th. I got it home and set everything up and turned on the tv and it has a dead pixel. Now I knew this was a problem with this TV as I did my research and read review after review so I didn't just jump on it just because of the price (even though it is a great deal for a TV this size and that it's also a 4k tv) but with the reviews that I read this only became a problem at least a year after they had the TV and mine came out the box like this. I'm debating whether I'm going to send it back because I got the 3 year warranty from Walmart (because of the reviews) and I registered it with the manufacturer warranty that comes with the TV but if I read the manufacturer warranty correctly they aren't gonna do much because they classify a problem with the TV (as far as dead pixels go) if it and 3 or more dead pixels. Another thing keeping me from sending it back right away is running the risk of getting a new one in the same condition and wasting a bunch out time. Other then the dead pixel out the box the TV looks great and works very well and that's why I gave it a 4-star rating but for anyone going to buy this I really suggest reading the reviews and just be prepared for something like this to happen.

Great TV at a Super Price

Great TV at an unbelievable price. This is the 3rd Sceptre set we have purchased and have not had any problems with them. The picture is sharp and colorful. I attached a sound bar to improve the experience.

Better than the competition

I bought my parent‘s the u50 and everytime I will come over their house I would say that is a beautiful picture until I started to realize that it was a better picture then three different brands I previously had I‘ll be getting me the u55 and then the u65 next

Great tv so far (only had it about a week). The image is sharp, the colors are beautiful. And the packaging made sure it was safe during shipping! (Very important as we'd had issues w/ another tv/company)

Let’s face it, it’s a $279 tv. With that in mind, the picture out of box was great. My only complaint was typical of today’s tv.... not so great sound. Plugged in a sound bar and wallah instant awesome. Granted I’m going up from a 32 and no sound bar, and this is day 3. But so far I’m extremely happy!!!

This is a very good not great 4K LED 55' T.V. for under $300.00 This is not a Smart T.V. The picture is good, the sound system could be better, the speakers are mounted in the rear of this T.V. set, unlike front speakers on most T.V.'s you have to adjust for that, they recommend a sound bar that costs around $70.00 heck even Samsung now recommends you get one. It has a refresh rate of 60mhz though on the box it comes in states 120mhz meme. I paid $26.00 for a 3 extended year warranty from Walmart to be safe and I got a wall mount for $19.99 that is great, I'm happy so far with this T.V.

Nice, Big TV!

So far, so good. Received in good condition. But the box was not in an outer box like it should have been. The only box was the one the TV came in from the factory. There should be more care taken in packaging, as I see a lot of reviews where people received their TV damaged. Otherwise, the TV has worked flawlessly, wonderful picture. I see a lot of people complain about the sound. The sound is great on mine. I rarely have to turn the volume above 10. Granted, its not "theater quality" sound, but its loud and clear. The only thing I havent liked is the day after I ordered it, they dropped the price another $20 Otherwise, so far, Im extremely pleased!

Brought this TV as a gift for my hubby. He loved it. The quality of the picture is awesome. Only thing I can say unfavorable is the sound quality. We are going to have to purchase a sound bar or something else that will give a better output movie theater sound.

Impressive sound and video

Works great right out of the box. Picture and resolution is really sharp. Watched the olympics and the performance of the tv was very impressive. Connected to my sound bar and am happy with the results. I only wish they would include a users manual to make connections a tad more clear.
