Worried after looking at reviews right before black Friday 2015. Decided to try the TV bought as a gift for my parents who abuse their TV it spends a solid 10 hours on each day. I gave them the TV at the beginning of December 2015 as their early Christmas gift and they loved it. It is currently still working without issue, no problems setting up either. Has lasted them longer then some of the other more notable brands they have owned in the past. Now looking to buy one for myself.

Great Value

I purchased this TV on 7/8 and although the delivery was delayed several times it did arrived undamaged. Must of the negative reviews I read were due to the TV being damaged during delivery. I guess I’m one of the lucky ones because TV arrived without any damage. Setup was a breeze the only problem I ran into was the resolution from my HD cable box was displaying at 720p not bad but not 1080p. After some research I was able to correct the problem by re-setting the resolution settings on the cable box. The picture is incredible and when compared to my other TV, 40’’ Samsung, I really can’t tell a difference. I do have to say the sound quality is not good but I connected a Sony sound bar and the sound is great. The next thing I need to do is to upgrade my Roku, so that can experience 4k, very much looking forward to experiencing true 4k (can’t wait). I waited several weeks to write this review because I wanted to make sure there were no issues. Overall I’m very satisfied with this TV, a great value $359 at Walmart, also purchased the 3 year warranty for $36 you can beat that!!!

Amazing picture and quality

I purchased the 55in U55 4k UHD Series at the end of August and it arrived with a broken screen, returned it and the second tv arrived in mint condition. Very happy with my purchase. Very good deal for a 4k tv!

Great Pictute

Had this about two months. Upgraded from the Sceptre 40". Love both, great value.

Excellent!

2nd try absolutely perfect. 1st had dead pixels. No problem with the exchange. This TV replaces a 50" plasma. Picture is just as good or better. Blacks handled real well. Good value!

Money well spent

Honestly I was skeptical about buying this tv at first because I‘ve never owned a sceptre or knew anyone that did. I will say I bought the 55 inch and I‘m in love with it. For 379.00 dollars you really can‘t go wrong with buying this tv and if your not sure you can get a 3 year warranty with it for about 35 more.

Amazing so far!

I bought this tv on 8/3 and it arrived in it's original packaging, undamaged and well packed 2 days later using my free trial of their shipping pass. I know a large chunk of the negative reviews are related to receiving damaged tvs. From the look of the interior packaging, they seem to have taken steps to prevent that. Set up was a breeze. They even include a screwdriver to put on the legs. It is a 2 person job to unbox it, so be warned. Before making any adjustments on the "user" preset, I put in Star Wars E7 to demo, since it was the newest movie I own, using the 'vivid' and 'standard' settings. Out of the box, the picture is fantastic. Don't let anyone tell you that your eyes can't see the difference in 4k and 1080p panels from a distance. The tiny nature of the pixels makes the picture incredibly smooth when upconverting. I do suggest going into the settings and choosing the option to smooth out motion blur. It was my first adjustment and it made a world of difference in the experience...

Best Value

If you don't care about Smart TV features or already have a streaming box or PC hooked up, and just want a monitor, this is the best value. Make sure you have 1080 coming in from your cable box. I had an old 46 inch from Sceptre since 2009 and upgraded, and I'm very pleased. I also bought the 3 year warranty. You could spend a few hundred more on a brand name for slightly better quality but whats the point with the technology changing so radically every few years.

Has excellent picture with 1080p blu-ray, have not tried out the 4k feature yet. Amazed to get a 55" 4k for under $400!!!

I was worried about the cost but

I am shocked at how good the picture is. Floored. DTV, XBox One ps4 x360 all look phenomenal and play perfect. Super thin super light the trim around the screen is almost non existent which I like, the actual screen a is nice gloss. Connections feel quality. It arrived in really nice packaging and in perfect shape, a small tear on the box. I've had this tv for 2weeks. It replaced a 65 inch toshiba 2008 1080p DLP. Way sharper and just as bright at 2 o'clock on a sunny day with all the blinds open as it is at midnight with the lights off. Im shocked for 380 I have a 55 inch that looks this good. And I got the Walmart extended warranty it was like 30 bucks or so. So...my review...Wow...Just....wow...wow- oh n I don't care about no smart features or the sound

Awesome Buy

My boyfriend was in the market for a 4k, 50-60 inch tv for the upcoming NFL season. However, the popular brands were pretty pricey, so when I came across this tv, I wanted to immediately purchase but my boyfriend was sceptical because of the brand. I purchased anyway since with Walmart you may easily return. The item was delivered on time & brought up to my fifth floor condo. Overall, my boyfriend was pleasantly surprised & pleased with the purchase. For me personally I think the tv is huge with an amazing picture, with a decent sound. Also, it's great for Blueray movies. So if you want a large tv with a great picture and price, I'd recommend it.

Good, high quality picture. My son-in-law and I installed it on the wall, and remarkably it even worked afterwards!
