Easiest TV, ever!!!

This TV was by far the easiest in every respect. The stand was simple to install with screws and screwdriver included. Batteries were included for the remote. I had absolutely no trouble getting the TV set up and the remote made everything simple to find and understand. I even hooked up my DVD/VCR player without any trouble. I have never had a TV that was such a cinch to set up. Very light weight, too, so no heavy lifting involved. Great price for a great TV. For the money, I am extremely satisfied.

exceeded expectations

This brand is a Walmart best kept secret. This television out performs my Samsung as well as my Panasonic. You can save a ton of money if your ego does'nt get in the way and you NEED to have yourself and your friends see a expensive brand name or logo. Buy the TV and put the difference in price in your savings account. I've been around awhile and I know a fantastic deal when I see one.

Great Value!

We bought this to replace an OLD bedroom TV the sound was going out on and WOW what a great tv. It is probably better suited for our living room, but will leave work on getting another as finances allow for another one! A great value for a great product. Highly recommend to anyone considering this brand.

great buy on a very nice TV!

I checked all the reviews on this TV and found it was highly rated. It was for my daughter so she had to set it up. It was very easy. It looks great and has a nice picture. She doesn't get HD but the picture is still great. She told me to give it 5 stars.

Outstanding picture great value

This is # 3 Sceptre

This is my 3rd Secptre TV. I have a 24" with DVD, 40" in my den and now adding a 40" to the spare room. Pros: Picture quality is very nice even in standard definition. East set up. Nice looking with the thin border. Price is well within budget. esp. when they are on sale. Audio output jacks (RCA PLUG) Cons: I think the one big complaint is sound. For older people who do not hear as good as well as they use to, it needs help. I have a Lepai amp/ with remote with 2 Sony speakers. Wireless head phones to keep the wife happy. Did not like the sound with a sound bar. (not Sceptre sound bar). Might do the same with the new 40".

A+ Sound, Picture, and Features !

I am very pleased with this TV! This is the 3rd flat screen TV I've purchased and the best yet. The sound quality is much better than I expected . The picture quality from my HD indoor antena is far better than my former Satelite or cable providers. My Roku 3 works flawlessly and the picture is amazing. At 1/2 the price of my last "big name TV " this TV out shines it by miles!

Good quality for the price

This TV has worked well so far. Picture is sharp and colors are true without having to do any adjusting on initial set up. The swivel base is a nice feature that is used often. Shipping was prompt and TV was packaged well and received in excellent condition.

Sceptre 40" TV and Chromecast works great

We just purchased this TV and are very pleased with it we decided to get this TV over a smart TV and add Chromecast and it works perfect.

Good & Light

I bought this mainly because it has all the old RCA hookups too, not just HDMI, so I don't have to go out & buy everything else new. It's especially nice that the hookups are also easy to get to, not like some TVs where you have to practically turn it upside down to hook it up. Very lightweight also, so I could easily lift it out of the box & hook it up myself. (I am a 65 year old woman)

More than I expected

I purchased this TV to replace an RCA. I was pleasantly surprised of the picture and sound. the picture is crystal clear and so worth the money paid for this.. Better than the RCA that was more money.

Sceptre 40 inch flat screen

Just got it but it has an awesome picture and easy to follow set up directions. Everything we needed at a real low cost.

Great buy

This 40" Sceptre is a great buy, it is very easy to set up and get started. The picture and sound quality are very good. I have 5 Sceptre tv's 2- 50" 1- 39" 1- 19" and the latest addition the 40". The 39" Sceptre is the oldest (about 6 years old) it is used almost every day and we have not had any issues with it or any other of the Sceptre sets. I highly recommend the Sceptre for it's quality and price.

Good picture..easy to set up..the main audio output has a set volume..my audio sytem has no remote so i used the headphone output which works with the remote volume

I have had this TV for several days and so far am very pleased.

Excellent value

Easy set up, good picture, acceptable sound, wide range of inputs, and slick looking. Very good value for the price. Of course - only time will tell quality/longevity, but excellent so far. Using almost exclusively with Roku to stream Netflix, ESPN and FuboTV; great for all.
