Blown away by difference

Pros: Bright colors, thin size, good response time, very clear image, low power and generates significantly less heat than my last monitor

Cons: Handful of dead pixels (<5). Also, I mount the monitor using a VESA dual-monitor mount, but the monitor stalk is attached to the monitor and cannot be removed so it sticks out of the bottom.

Other Thoughts: My previous monitor was a 2006 20.1" 16:10 Sceptre that has served me well for the past 9 years. Unfortunately, the internal power supply died, so I had to replace it. Because I had such a good experience with my previous monitor, I decided to go with them again even though there were better-known company monitors for sale that were slightly cheaper. 

The difference between the two monitors is night and day. I should have upgraded years ago! Regarding the dead pixels, I'm going to attempt to fix them however they are all scattered around the edge so they aren't that big of a deal.

Works Great.

It looks great, work greats, and has many connection options. I would recommend it to anybody. I am thinking about getting another one. There is a tilt adjustment on it as well which is very helpful.

24" Monitor and it Tilts

"Great monitor and big enough for me." Monitor does Tilt. All you have to do is: 1. Lay monitor on carpet floor, before removing plastic, from screen. 2. Hold monitor down and gently using fingers and hand move the metal bracket. 3. Then put metal bracket into plastic holder. 4. It doesn't tilt very far, but far enough. Enjoy, Chips

Nice monitor

this Sceptre monitor installed readily on my computer running on OS WinXP-Pro. Being wide screen is advantageous for reading e-mail that is often cut-off at the edges on my previous monitor.

Sceptre 24 in 1080P

This a great monitor, the 1080P is really nice for plugging into my laptop. The picture is second to none. The sound is not good. I thought that I would have an extra set of speakers to add to my computer system but that was not the case. Very low volume, small and not every effective speaker system within the monitor. The 24 inch is a nice size for an extra monitor.

Nice Monitor

I have had this monitor in my office for over a month now, and I have been very pleased. I have had no issues at all and the picture is great.

This screen is a nice size and easy to plug and play. The size is not too big and yet bigger than most screens with a very good picture.

The best buy in Monitors, anywhere

Actually it is a great, great buy. Only problem is that I got it up and running in no time but need some help in the fine tuning. Too much white screen and too bright. My shortcomings - not Sceptre's. But, yes, for the price it's a lot of equipment.

100 days and working fine

End of January purchase. It‘s delivered very nice images from 1st power up. ASUS GTX 980 is providing DVI signalling to it (main screen is a 27" BENQ). This is exactly what I wanted for the reasonable price point. Haven‘t gamed on it, but have watched a few 1080p movies - every bit as nice as the BENQ (just 24" in size). Hope it lasts 60 plus months. I‘ll be purchasing the Sceptre 4K UHD TV because I‘m sold on the manufacturer‘s quality now.

Very happy and satisfied that after setting up and plugging in, and operating system 7, the monitor is quite sharp with excellent color and no adjustment necessary.

Great Bang for the Buck!!

Did the research on this item...some didn't like it, but most did. I like quality items and for the money this is quality!! Just use it for a desktop monitor but do enjoy the large screen. When my mom comes over there is never any problem with seeing anything on the screen.
