Great TV for it's price

I had to play with the video settings a bit, but once i did i was able to get the TV at its Optimal display. The sound quality is not the best, but nothing that a sound bar cannot fix. I was able to order it through Walmart.com and it came in a few days earlier then expected. I have yet to see how the TV works on a live game and newer movies. That was the true reason on the TV. I want to see the video quality like you do on a closed Circuit TV in the electronic stores, Costco‘s, or BJ‘s. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

Excellent value for the price.

Great clarity, easy to set up lightweight. Ordered and did a ship to store which was nice. This replaced an 8 year old 47" and the technology difference couldn't be more striking. Plenty of extra ports so there is room to add devices. It comes with an optical out to run a sound bar. I was a bit skeptical of the brand since it isn't well known, but if this one makes it 8 years it will far and away be worth the price!

Great upscaling!

I‘ve had it less than a week, but the day it arrived I hung it on the wall. There was a 42" 1080P there before, I have HD cable the picture is impressive! Also a Sceptre that I‘ve had for five years with not a single problem, its now in the bedroom on the wall. I have my receiver hooked up to this TV via Optical out, sounds very very good! Would heartily recommend, not much money for the upgrade!

Awesome TV

This is a great TV and an even better price. I am a gamer and love this TV I haven't had any problems with it. There is no game delay or anything. The picture quality looks awesome as well. The TV itself is also quite light if that matters to whoever may read this.

A pleasant surprise

I can't believe that all Walmart stores don't have this TV up and running. So far this has been a surprise and a very good experience for me. I can't also believe that there are negative reviews out there about it. To the one who is sceptical about the build, or the performance, (unless that person is a professional game player) of this TV, Put your mind to rest. It is stunning. I've yet to navigate through all its features, but right now I see rock solid performance and great picture adjustment settings. I'm in awe of the standard clarity (not 4K). Don't hesitate, at a little over $400.00 with a protection plan included you can do a lot worse in your desision making. Thank you Walmart, for affording me the opportunity to get a 4K tv at this price.

Got it from Walmart. Easy pick up. Quick installation. Can‘t beat features for the price ($350). Just look at the specs and then, again, at the price! They also sell sound bar (just ordered - $79) controlled by remote of the TV. It has great reviews. Will do mine next week after pick it up from Walmart.

Pleasantly surprised

I bought this tv because a number of years ago I aquired a sceptre crt computer monitor which was going strong long after I sold it to someone. And my first tv crt type was a 32" tv and at the time it cost $369.00. Now I own a 50" ultra high definition tv with stunning performance in it"s price range. Keep up the good work Sceptre.

Great purchase for the price

I bought this TV a month ago for 350 USD with Roku 3 for the smartness. It has been working excellent so far . We did not try UHD videos and mostly been using with roku streaming . The quality has been very good . Even 720p looked excellent.

Great picture

Great tv at half the price as others with same features. Only bad thing I have found is the sound is horrible you will need a sound bar.

Great size for computer

Bought this "U505CV-UMC" at "Walmart" online for good price at time. Picks up local channels ok, some in HD looks good. Just need any good antenna, Waiting for something broadcast in 4K. Had to adjust computer card for good looks in windows, especially low key text and background. Windows fit screen very well, no overlap. Movies playing good. Not a smart TV, but can use 4 hdmi inputs, of which could be connected any SMART device. You know the ones not costing very much, or the computer like I did. This works great, the computer does the "SMART" and TV does the display. One of inputs will enhance source to approach 4k, looks good. Also has USB 2.0 input. I like being able to switch back and forth with TV "for ball games" and computer. You know like when set computer to do something like backing up large drives that are taking a long time, then switch to TV for a while.

Surprise can be good!1

As well as giving full 4k TV, I am using it as a 4K monitor (for my P.C.). It is fully compliant, and I am *very* pleased with the output. Gaming is crisp, responsive, and impressive. It brings "full immersion" to another level (and for hundreds of dollars less than a far smaller 4k monitor would have cost me).

Great tv for price. I like to watch NFL & the clarity is awesome. Regarding sound quality comments by others ... I didn't hear a problem. You can add a sound bar . I am interested in picture quality.

Great Picture

Ran the screen through my desktop (via HDMI) to get the full resolution. Didn‘t try any games or anything, but some UHD You tube videos look great
