For the Price its excellent
Yes I know there are excellent television's out there that are far better than this one. 60,70,85 inch tv's. You can purchase TV's in 4K, 3D, Ultra this and that, The feet on some television's are quite nice. The brand of some are awesome. Yet, the price was my determining factor on this television and I am quite happy with it. We used to have a 50 in RCA. I was very disappointed when it when out with only 3.5 years of use. I called tech support and they seemed quite happy that I was out of warranty. No help and good bye. Well for me this year buying a television meant a goodbye to RCA and there poor service and I was looking for a television that was large and reasonably priced. This 50 inch Sceptre fit my needs exactly. It seems larger than my other 50 inch. I'm talking about the picture size. Maybe its because I was watching a 40 inch model waiting for this one. For 50 inch this Sceptre seems large and I like it that way. The rest of the members who watch this television more than I are equally impressed and quite happy. Here are some of the reasons. First, to have a50 inch tv in the living room. Nice size picture for a living room household. Also, The picture is very clear. We are all quite happy with the 1080p picture. No its not a 4k and in some respects I wish I would have put out the extra fifty bucks for the sceptre 55 inch 4K. I would recommend looking into that one also. The audio on this television is quite nice. I think there would be better out there. There definitely are many sets worse. As I have listened to those. We don't use a sound bar for this TV and are quite happy with it the way it is. The television is very light. Some would like that, others might not be so happy with the way this could tip over fairly easily. I suppose in some ways it would benefit say if you wall mounted the television. The base rest are cheap feat in comparison to others that have a stainless steel frame. The remote is adequate but we don't
