Great Buy

I purchased this television online when it was on sell during Father’s Day week end. I only had to wait a few days before it was ready for me to pick up from the store. I picked it up from the store and it was very easy to set up. The television set came with a small screw driver so that it did not require me to have additional tools in order to put it together. I was able to connect my antenna and all of my other devices to the television. It did not take me very long in order for me to do the initial set up such as scanning for channels for an example. I was watching television on my new television before I knew it. The picture and sound quality was very good. The television menu made it very easy for me to customize the picture and the sound to match my tastes. I liked having 3 HDMI ports so that I can add an additional streaming device for an example. The television is good quality at a good price!

Great value so far

So far (2 months) I have had no problems, but the real test will be how many years it lasts. The most important con is the speakers which are pointed down toward the shelf or table on which the TV sits and so do not project the sound. I am using auxiliary powered speakers plugged into the headphone jack and the sound is fine.

Searched other sites and then went to walmart.com and found this tv much less than any others of the same size, ordered online and it was delivered very quickly. Very easy to get set up and going. Very satisfied with this site.

I got this TV to put on my deck for football season. It's GREAT! Several reviews said that the sound is no up to par. I disagree. I have it sitting on a table that is about four inches from the back of my house and the sound is Great. The picture is outstanding and clear. A GREAT purchase and Great price.

Good Budget TV

Purchased this as a gift for my daughter. She lives an hour away from me so I unboxed it and set it up in my home to test run it and make sure it was good outta the box. Fortunately it was. Good for a budget TV. I noticed audio volume was much better when viewing over the air broadcasts. When viewing my Direct TV in HDMI 1 input it was much lower. I have a Panasonic plasma that is the opposite of that on audio volume levels. My daughter is happy with it and time will tell of it;s reliability.

The price was right, delivery great and picture superb. I think I have said it all. It was a great deal.

Awesome Sceptre Tv 50' is not a deception.

I use this because I needed a wide screen that could handle the extremely long workflow charts created. I use this tv as a computer monitor. I have 2 other screens that I use to extend.

Steal deal!

Arrived a day earlier than expected, tv lightweight, so easy to lift onto stand. Picture looks good to me, so for $200 it was definitely a steal! Will certainly buy another.

50 inch TV

I have never owned a TV of this brand before, so I was a little worried at first, but for the price I took the risk. For the price, and quality of this TV, I give this 5 stars. Colors great, fit nicely above the fireplace, and its a very solid TV. Highly recommend this TV is you are in the market for something large at a decent price point.

Wow! What a value!

I bought this for $199.99 assuming that it wouldn't be the greatest since it's the cheapest TV out there. However, I've been very pleased. I really can't see what makes it so cheap. The picture is great, it has 3 HDMI inputs, and the sound is pretty good for flat panel speakers. I went a very cheap route because I was planning to use this TV outside. So far, I'm very impressed. One cool feature is it has 5 band sound equalizer that seems to work pretty well in getting a good sound out of the TV. Keep in mind that I'm using it outside so it needs to be loud so it can be heard from the other end of the pool. Now the test will be to see how long it lasts. I'd rather go through five of these than spend $1,500 on an outdoor weatherproof TV.

Love this TV. Arrived earlier than expected. Beautiful picture, sounds great and easy set up.
