Unbeatable for the price!

The picture quality of this TV is remarkably good for the price. While it‘s not a "smart" TV, it offers plenty of inputs for ROKU, smart Blu-ray, etc. I was surprised at how good the image is, considering the refresh rate. Would highly recommend for anyone on a budget.

sceptre tv

Works great. This is my 3rd Sceptre TV. I have a 32" and a 42". Picture is great. The new 50" is a lot lighter and even thinner then even my 32". Sound is the only problem but you can't get much of a speaker into that thin of a package plus it points towards the wall. I new this going in. Add a sound bar or other sound system You have a great home theater at a very low price.

As long as you purchase the Roku stick or similar streaming device, this is an amazing product. I read a lot of complaints about the sound, but we haven't had any problems. If we did, a soundbar would still make this a great buy. The picture quality is amazing and my children love it with their XBox Kinect games, too. Don't let the affordable price scare you away.

This TV rocks!

I love this television. I've yet to use all of it's features (such as Roku). The audio and video flexibility is wonderful. The clarity knocks me back every time the set is turned on. I would recommend this to anyone. The price is unbelievable and the quality is stupendous.

LOVE IT

I brought this tv a month ago, and it‘s my second in 3yrs. I love both of these tv‘s and wouldn‘t trade neither one for another brand, they are reliable and give great features.

I just purchased this TV, works great out of the box. Have not tried MHL port yet but HDMI is great.

Nice TV

Very nice Picture. Sound could be a little louder. Speakers point downwards instead of outward. All in all, great TV for the price.

Not a Bad LED 50" TV f

I was very happy receiving this TV as a Christmas gift. The only problem I found that the volume was very low and intermittent at times. I am not complaining I will put up with since I am handicapped and this sole form of entertainment in the Winter time.

Great Deal!

Bought this model for $350 from Walmart over 3 months ago. Was a little cautious since I had not heard much about Sceptre before. The TV itself seems a little ‘lighter‘.. not cheaper, but lighter than some of the more well-known brands I‘ve had experience with. The base was a bit of a pain to screw in, I ended up using my own screws that were heavier duty since it was not pre threaded. But, with a 4 year product replacement plan from Walmart for an additional $50, I can rest easy knowing that this TV is covered beyond the manufacturer‘s warranty, even to damages resulting from regular wear and tear. Good picture, average sound, great price. Happy with it!

Excellent Budget TV

This is an excellent budget LED TV. I was impressed of the price, $359 for this 50 inch TV. I was glad to see it arrived at the store (Walmart) undamaged - many online reviews warned of shipping damage. Using it for two months so far, it does not have every feature as my Samsung 3D LED 55 inch in my living room, but as a second TV in the bedroom it‘s great. Some features I had grown accustomed to enjoy were missing, such as a lit remote control, and playing videos from USB thumb drive. It does have a remote similar to samsung, and can play music and photos from USB though. Also the resolution is not perfect for cable TV as the screen aspect ratio is difficult to fit everything on the screen at once, that my Samsung does nicely - it‘s really zoomed in, stretched wide, or normal mode has wide black bars on the sides of cable TV shows. At this price, a few dead pixels can be overlooked as well - it had a row of about 4 dead pixels.
