I have had this for several months and have enjoyed this product very much so far.

Amazing product!

I bought this Sceptre TV three months ago...and was skeptical because of the low price. I love the product. Good sound...clear image. I like the Roku feature a lot. Have my laptop connected too. I was intimidated when the huge box arrived but had the stand attached in minutes...turned on the set and everything worked perfectly. If you are looking for a big screen...don‘t pay hundreds more...by a Sceptre!

Fantastic Picture

I bought this TV last month after our other model lcd tv screen cracked(joys of having children!) I found it online at Walmart.com and was attracted to the price. I read the reviews and they were split, I was hesitant to purchase. I did anyway. After bringing the tv home, first impression is that it was thinner and much lighter than other model‘s. We hooked it up and it has a great picture! Better than some of the bigger brands. The only thing is the volume is lower than expected,but we have computer speakers hooked up to boost it and it‘s great! So glad I made the purchase!

Bought 2!

Great TV for the price we paid. We bought one and added a Vizio wireless sound bar for the theater room upstairs then bought another big screen with the scepter sound bar included for the great room. However, the scepter sound bar is no comparison to the Vizio, but then the difference is price of the two was a lot. We got what we paid for. We don‘t regret the purchase, it fit our budget. We had just built a new home and had to furnish these rooms with Tvs.

nice TV, remote is lacking

This very nice. Great picture. Sound leaves a lot to desire though. Ends up purchasing g a vizio sound stand and the remote won‘t pair with it. Very frustrating in this day n age.

Great TV

We bought this TV just a month ago and it is great. We had 2 Sceptre 32 " TV‘s and when we moved to another apartment we wanted a larger one for the living room. One 32" is in our bedroom and I hooked the other to my computer. Works great as a large monitor. All of your products are great. Sound could be better, but soundbar takes care of that. Love the pictures, didn‘t even have to change any of the settings. Thanks again for a great product.

Very Satisfied!

I have had this TV for about 6 months now and I love it. It has a great picture. I use a soundbar with it just because I like the booming bass for movies, but the TV sound is fine. It has all of the connection types you should need to connect peripherals. Some other reviews mention a problem with the stand, but I have had no problem with it. Great TV at a great price!

A real bargain!!

I was looking for an easier way to show a video to my class at church but had a limited budget - found this off-brand TV online and took a chance at the great price expecting to maybe return it. But it was SUPER! The colors and response time was great. It is SO big and can be seen across a large meeting hall easily. Setup was a snap - the remote is easy to use - and the base stand is very secure. Buy this now before they run out of stock!

Good Deal

Bought this on sale at Walmart for game room. Price was so low, I bought the 3 year warranty with it for security. Reviews were good...most complaints were related to shipping damage, so I did ship-to-store so I could inspect before purchase. Has performed perfectly...none of my guests know how little I paid...picture is great. I have it connected to an Onkyo surround system, so sound is not a problem. For customers without surround systems, I‘d advise buying a sound bar if your not happy with just tv sound. Very pleased with product.

Bought this TV for my man cave and it makes the room awesome with the quality of the picture and sound. Works well with movies and gaming, Roku Ready is nice touch and it was setup in 10 minutes. Shipping was fast And easy, just a great all around product!

Great picture.

I researched a lot of HDTVs. The X505BV-FMQR 50" seemed to have as many features if you add the ROKU as other HDTV‘s. I‘m very pleased with the quality of picture & sound. I will buy a SECPTRE again for the sun room at some point. Got it at a very good price. Under $400.00.

This is my first big screen TV

We bought this 50" TV in November, 2014, and I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it !! As a matter of fact, because we like it so much, we bought a 32" Sceptre 3-D TV last week and can‘t wait to get some 3-D movies to watch !

wonderful thus far

Only had for a few days, so I can‘t comment on the longevity, but this tv is fantastic so far. I love the swivel base, and 3 hdmi ports are exactly the number I need. Most tvs have only 2 these days, which I‘ve never understood. The price was great, picture and sound are great, I am very satisfied.

Best TV I've owned

Best TV I‘ve owned and the most inexpensive. I bought a 32" Visio Sound Bar thinking it would enhance the sound a lot but the sound out the TV sounds just as good and almost as loud. The picture is clear, vivid, and in need of none of the selectable filters they‘ve build into the TV. Very nice and best value for the money and most inexpensive TV I‘ve ever bought.

excellent TV & price

this TV has an excellent picture, and the price can not be beat, I don‘t need to pay more for one of the Smart TVs, I just hook my Lap Top with an HDMI cable and I have an excellent Smart TV. I also bought the Sceptre 2.1 channel sound bar, because i wanted to use just one remote for both the TV and the sound bar, and the sound is very good for a small apartment.

Great Picture

Received as a birthday gift from my kids. Totally happy with the picture after another review posted the settings. The sound is great, and hooks up to other components very easily. Read of problems with the stand but if you use different screws than the ones supplied, it will set up very sturdy. Great picture, easy setup, makes for a great birthday gift.

A Real Shocker

I started out buying a plasma tv from another company, but just before the extended warranty ran out the plasma tv developed problems which couldn‘t be fixed because the manufacturer doesn‘t make plasma sets anymore. I was leary of this set because I never had anything from Sceptre before, and frankly the low price scared me. Once I made the necessary picture adjustments it had a nearly perfect picture. There are a couple of spots where you can see the backlight shining through on the black screen before the picture comes on. Fortunately, I don‘t usually turn the tv on to watch a black screen and the actual picture is really great. We love it. Since my experience with the plasma tv I strongly advise buying the extended warranty (4yrs. plus the standard 1yr. mfg. warranty means 5yrs of Walmart‘s ‘no questions asked‘ coverage). If you are on a tight budget and don‘t have special feature requirements, then you can‘t go wrong with this one. Btw, I haven‘t noticed a single dead or stuck pixel. Really nice, Sceptre; you‘ve earned our respect and affection.
