Great picture

I bought this TV as a gift for my boys for Christmas to play their PS4. What an awesome picture. They are so happy.

Good buy with good features.

Great for the price. Good picture with digital optical sound out and three HDMI inputs and headphone jack. Too bad the tinny sound needed another $75 dollar sound bar and don‘t expect Sceptre to provide it: my soundbar from Sceptre had a coaxial digital connection which I could not use. Connecting to analog input did the trick anyway.

Best Christmas Present

We bought this Sceptre 50" TV recently and have not regretted it! For the price, which we compared to similar size from Samsung and Vizio, it can‘t be beat! We compared price versus features, and this seemed to have everything we needed for a great price. The packaging was superb, so we actually received it in one piece! Easy setup, even without reading the manual. Colors are amazing, especially for true HD videos. Perfect as a computer monitor too. Would highly recommend this TV!

Too Good of a Deal

I researched this tv for weeks on Walmart.com before I finally made the decision to buy and I am all too pleased. It performs great. I have no complaints. The picture is clear. Only meant for Blu Ray and streaming HD. Regular dvds don‘t look great because the picture output on this tv is just too good! I was very happy with this purchase.

Fantastic Picture

I have never been so pleased with a TV which has the sharpness, color and sound. The extra added features ie Surround Sound, Blue Tooth and sound control that other TV‘s don‘t offer. The cost is great and I would put the Sceptre TV up to any other TV on the market.

First time I ever bought a TV online so I was somewhat leary, but this TV turned about to be worth it. I really love it. Great picture quality.

Perfect for the price!

I purchased this product from Walmart.com. I did a lot of research to find the best overall quality for the amount I was willing to spend. With the prices on Sceptre tv ‘ being much lower than their competitors, I was able to get a much larger tv than I originally thought I could. The main gripe I have with this television is the sound. I knew this was a common complaint from other reviews I had read, so I expected the sound to be really bad. It has a "in a box" sound. I have researched several different sound setting options for this tv and it is better but still not great. With the volume full blast when watching a movie, I still had times when I couldn‘t hear what was being said. My solution, along with other reviewers will be a sound bar. I bought this tv knowing the sound was not the greatest. As for the picture quality, I am very impressed. I have been adjusting the picture settings to find what I like best, but the picture is clean and crisp right out of the box. This product comes packaged really well. I ordered mine online and received it within a few days. Overall, I am quite pleased with my purchase and would definitely make the same choice again. In fact I purchased a 32" for my son for Christmas. I have been singing Sceptre‘s praises to everyone who will listen. Thank you for a great affordable product Sceptre!

Works Great

Bought this a month ago,so glad i did.with the built in tuner,plugged in indoor antenna,did channel scan,got 33 channels.

Early Christmas gift to ourselves and very happy. Great picture and sound. I never heard of the brand, but definitely would recommend and buy again.

SO FAR SO GOOD

Just purchased this TV a few days ago and so far I am very happy with it. Almost returned it after setting it up because the picture was very grainy until my brother told me that I needed HD service to get the full effect of the TV. So I called Comcast and added the HD service and now the picture is great.

Great TV for the Price

This is the first Sceptre TV I‘ve purchased. I‘ve used their computer monitors for years and haven‘t had a single issue, so when I ended up in the market for a new TV, Sceptre was at the top of my list. Aside from the picture quality, sound quality and additional features, I found the Sceptre 50" 505 on sale at Walmart for $369 (which included the 3 year extended warranty option). I really don‘t think you can find a better deal on a NEW TV. Extremely happy with the purchase and have ordered a 2nd one for the bedroom.

This is the third Sceptre I have purchased. I have a 32", 40", and now the 50". All the products perform great, I have no regrets.

Fantastic product

What I liked about this TV is that it was easy to set up I don,tt always know how are understand how set up electronics but, the instructions were very easy to follow. I had never heard of this brand before. The picture quality is good sound good, and I likes all the different outlets you can connect to it. The games boxes ,computer , and that its roku ready. Really great product. I am glad I bought it.

I have only had this a few weeks so far it is great also works good as computer monitor and picture is great but check website before You get one found that they were running a special that came with sound bar after I had already got this one so do the research first
