Amazing product!

Have had this unit for about 7 months now---and it is a GREAT tv. I would [and have] reccomended it to anyone interested in a very good buy---and an excellent TV

SUPERIOR VALUE!!

Never having seen a Sceptre LED HDTV, we were a bit skeptical. Those thoughts disappeared as soon as we turned our X505BV- FMQR HDTV on. The picture was crystal clear. Not even a hint of shadows. Just an absolutely gorgeous HDTV image which rivals models that cost 2 or even 3 times as much. Hooking it up via a optical audio cable to my Dolby 7.1 amplifier truly gave us the experience we expect. I would highly recommend this Sceptre 55" LED HDTV to everyone.

Easy set up! Great features!

We bought this TV on sale back in the summer and we are loving it! It was a simple set up and the features are great! Great TV at a great price!

Excellent Value

I bought this product back in August. I have been extremely pleased with the picture quality and most especially the value of the TV. It has performed well beyond my expectations.

Great value

We were very satisfied with the picture quality. The volume could stand to get a little louder. But otherwise, I thought this was a great value for the money. It was easy to set up and we‘re really enjoying it.

Incredible value!

Super tv for the money! Light and easy to set up. When I read the TV remote code was the universal Sony code, I was really happy as that meant quality and was very easy set up to my dish network remote control. I did order your sound bar, can‘t wait to add this to this incredible TV. After doing some reading I am getting the Roku stick. Couldn‘t ask for anything more to add to this TV!!

Good tv but sound needs work

The picture is great but the sound system leaves a lot to be desired. Some channels you have to have it as load as it can go just to hear the show is an average size room. Needs work.

Great tv and awesome picture

Just got this tv and it is awesome, picture is crystal clear, it has lots of options for different type of viewing and sound options also the MHL is great to have. the price was great also cant find a better 50" tv with MHL for the price

Great tv for a great price

check it out for yourself and do the comparisons. stands up strong to the over-priced big name brands. i am ultra careful about getting the most bang for my buck and am totally pleased with this purchase.

Great Value

I just got this set. So far I am very pleased with it. The picture is very good. The controls are easy to work with. The only thing I would like to be improved is the sound.

Very tangible product!

Hands on easy setup, quick performance and the price was terrific. It‘s resolution and sound are just great. I was very curious about the sound because afew reviews had a less than average rating. I then looked at the approximate age of those giving the review, and realized that given they were mostly older (senior stage), it is likely they didn‘t have the best hearing to begin with. Like a home stereo has great range in sound but if your hearing doesn‘t it really doesn‘t matter anyway. Most got an additional soundbar which is fine. I don‘t need one yet and I am a senior. The only question left for my TV is longevity. My first one didn‘t last one week before the tuner or display burned out. So far this one is beyond the 90 day threshold. Lasting 3 years would make it a C grade. 5+ would make it an A grade. 3D HDTV was out of the question since it is an old gimmick and 3D can play havoc with your eyes over the course of years watching it. The big outfits like Samsung or Vizio need a wakeup call and in order to match Sceptre would have to drastically reduce over-inflated prices in order to compete rather than living off there names or past reputations. 5 stars contingent on longevity.

GREAT FOR THE PRICE

The weight of the tv is nice and lite, the picture is good and clear, the set up with a dvd player and WI was a little confusing but with help from the tech support staff I got it together and the swivel base is a nice feature.

Best bang for your buck!

I bought this 7 months months ago on walmart.com for $399 and couldn‘t be happier. Awesome picture. The sound is a bit tinny, but that‘s common with these HDTVs. I just hooked up a soundbar to it. I was sceptical to buy a unpopular brand TV, but after 7 months of daily use and video gaming, its going strong. Highly recommended if you don‘t want to spend twice the amount on a higher end brand. Trust me, you‘ll enjoy the Sceptre.

Champagne Tv on a beer budget

After using my Sceptre TV for the past 4 month‘s, I can honestly say it‘s the best purchase I have made in year‘s. Not only was the price great, but the picture quality is amazing. The stylish slim bezel design is very pleasing to my eye, and fit‘s in with the rest of my electronics. It was very simple to set up and the included sound bar feature also made it that much easier to use the Sceptre sound bar I use along with it. Yes, you can pay way more for other brand‘s, but why would you.

Good feature set for the price

Television has a good feature set for the price. Out of the box the picture and sound needed some simple adjustments for an optimal experience but once made the picture and sound become much more alive. Your getting alot of screen size for the money.

What a great TV, fantastic picture very easy setup. I was pleasantly surprised for the price I paid of 339.00, the quality is excellent. If you are looking for a great TV at a bargain price price this is it!

Excellent Product, Good Servic

I bought this from the Walmart website, after reading the reviews. I have to say, the set has surpassed not only my expectations, but my hopes for the set. It really was a good test, because I had to return the first set shipped to me because the picture suddenly just went blank - if it was a picture tube, I‘d describe it as the tube just didn‘t light. It was under warranty, and Sceptre was incredible about the return. The entire process happened just as they said it would. All returns should be this easy. The only negative is that the sound is tinny and reminds me of a transistor radio from the 1960‘s. Yeah, I remember those! But with the money I saved on the set, I was able to buy a good 5.1 surround system. Normally you get what you pay for. With this set, I got a lot more than I paid for.

Great Tv great price!

We finally got a big tv and love it! The 60hz is just fine and I don‘t regret not having 120hz at all. Works great with Chromecast too!

Great T.V. for the money

I was looking for a 50"-55" T.V. for my bedroom. I own one 55" Samsung LED Smart T.V. & a 50" Samsung plasma T.V. I decided to look around to find the best price w/the features I needed for the bedroom. I went to Walmart.com & found a Spectre LED 50" 1080p T.V. Prior to me looking at this T.V. I have never heard of the brand. I did my research about Sceptre T.V.‘s & to my surprize they had excellent reviews so I decided to give it a chance. Mind you I love Samsung products in general. I am very pleased with the purchase of this T.V. For the money you can‘t find a better deal then this for the quality you get. Thank you for the great T.V. & I look forward to getting many years out of it. I highly recommend this T.V. to all who are looking for a great LED T.V. Thank you very much.
