Great picture

This is our second Sceptre TV. The first lasted over 10 years and is still going. The pictures on the new one is great and it seems to work well. We have only used the HDMI ports but so far no issues!

Pretty good tv

It isn't perfect but is a great TV. Has a little light showing around edges, but not really enough to bother. For the price and it also not being a major brand, I'm satisfied with my purchase. Would recommend this television to friends.

excellent tv with unbelievable picture, sound, contrast!! i bought at an excellent price during holiday special. shopping was user friendly on website and packaging for shipping was above the normal for protection of the product. cable connection is the provider for basing by recommendation . you won't find a better product for the price of this 55". i am 65 years of age and am enjoying my new tv!

Good 4K TV for the price

So far so good. Lot's of tweaking required to get the picture like I want it. Don't know if I'll ever get there with the sound settings. Looks like I'm going to need a soundbar. Go for it if sound is not a priority for you.

Great buy for the price very happy with device

Only thing that bugged me was that it is online only and not available in store, bought this to replace a Vizio that died on me after only a year and half and this seems to easily be on par with quality with the same sources and add 4K support on top makes it only that much better.

Easy to set up and nice clear picture

I got this TV in the mail 2 weeks ago and so far so good. It's not the quality of a Samsung or a Sony, but for the price, it isn't bad. 4K looks pretty nice with rich, deep colors. I bought an Xbox One-S last week, so games, 4K Movies (I have Star Trek Beyond), and Netflix look pretty good in 4K. Even though this TV doesn't have HDR, the cheap price is what will get you. You'll need a soundbar if you're looking for dynamic sound, though. You can tweak the sound to make it sound a little better, but it's still not very good. Just remember...the only way you'll get 4K on this TV is if you buy a device that supports 4K...like an Xbox One or a 4K blu-ray player. You'll only get up to 1080I on a cable box.

Great Deal

I was leery of buying a TV sight unseen. I was particularly worried about all the negative comments about so many units showing up damaged. Ordered and did in-store pick-up. Unit is light. Only 10% of the weight of the mounting hardware. So all the big bolts I had to use were to hold up the mounting system, not the TV. Picture is superb. Couldn't be happier to have such an excellent big screen TV for such a bargain price. Yes, the sound is terrible. But since this is replacing the TV in a home theater system where I already have great sound - not an issue. Biggest upside? The 43" Visio HDTV it replaced makes an excellent PC gaming monitor!

120 refresh rate which is good. 4K isn't that great...

Good tv, good price

Great picture, input lag is fine for games and as a pc monitor, sound is marginal as I expected. I use a sound bar and it's fine. One odd thing is that audio out responds to the volume button on the remote, but mute only affects the internal speaker.
