Absolutely wonderful! It comes with 3 hdi ports and if your like me and use a lot of technology this is handy :) it's so bright and big. Wonderful when playing games.

Home scheme is perfect. Easy setup

Finally a TV that has true to life color. This actually lets you choose between Home color scheme and Store demo. Home scheme is perfect. Easy setup. Works great. Nice base too. Seen a lot of chincy ones out there.

Sceptre is the best kept secret in HDTV

This is the 2nd HDTV I have purchased with the Sceptre name. Obviously I liked the first one enough to seek out this brand for the 2nd. The first is a 49" UHDTV and the picture on this one (40") is equally as clear/vibrant. Can't beat the price. Speakers aren't bad for a flat panel tv either.

great general purpose television

works great, general tv, its not extremely sharp picture, but its ok, I don't need to see every single wrinkle, skin blemishes and whisker studs of my nightly news reporters. I was surprised that I am able to watch fast moving sports without the picture lag common with less expensive tvs.

Exceeded my expectations! The price for this TV is absolutely amazing for the vivid and realistic graphics it has. If you buy this TV i recommend messing with the settings as they can actually enhance your experience. Other than the incredible graphics the speakers aren't too special, but it still sounds really good.

I'm really happy with this tv. I'll be honest, I was a little leary of buying an 'off brand' in my opinion. After reading the reviews, most of which were all good, I decided to make the purchase. $200 for a 40" tv is fantastic. I feel like I got a steal lol. The picture, colors, sound, and quality are great! I'd definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

Excellent picture. Sound quality is OK but I ordered a sound bar along with the TV made the sound perfect.. Very nice quality for the money. Would not hesitate to buy again

I can't believe the amazing picture quality for such a low price. It feel like I stole it for $200!

So far, Great TV for the money

Have had no problems with the TV so far. Haven't used it a lot as we bought it for a spare room but once again it seems to function very well!

Worth the Money

We purchased this set for our bedroom. It is hooked to DirecTV. The picture is good quality and the sound is as good as expected. It's slow coming on and for channel changes but aren't we a little spoiled in that regard with the new technology? All things considered, I would say it was certainly a good buy.
