I‘ve owned this TV for 2 months and have been very pleased with my purchase. Picture quality is great and the sound is fairly good. My only complaint is how ling it takes the TV to turn on.

Great HD TV!

I bought this TV for myself as a Christmas present. I got it for about $550 with a four year service agreement and free shipping from Walmart online. When I first got it I did not have HD programing so the live sports were a little bit fuzzy. I have since upgraded to the Comcast X 1 operating system and the picture is crystal clear for everything I‘ve watched. A great buy. I would recommend this TV to anyone.

TV worked great,but, after doing the channel search, it would not find digital channels. Come to find out from Sceptre tech support, this specific model does not have a built in QAM tuner, meaning one cannot simply connect the coax, one has to purchase an external HD tuner or rent one from cable provider.

Bought Wrong Roku, Happy Ending

I've been a diehard CRT television owner and am happy I put off buying a flat screen all these years. But I accidentally ordered a Roku 3 instead of Roku 2, and rather than return it decided to give this affordable TV a try. As I worried, the regular analog cable TV looks far worse on HD (not specifically a Sceptre issue). But the HD picture from Roku feed, wireless Netflix, etc. is awesome, superior to my parents "smart TV" at less than half the cost. If you have a way to get internet without ordering a cable television package, this is a fantastic way to cut the cable bill. The Sceptre sound outlets are on the left side of the TV, but the Scepter sound bar plugs are on the right side of the sound bar. That's messed up, find a sound bar with plugs on the same side as the TV. And if you are just watching analog signal, stay away from all LCD/LED televisions period.

Great Picture and Sound

The 55" TV is Great, the Speakers are a dream and it is my first LED and it is Very Bright and the Pic is Crisp. I did buy the RoKu and it works fine. I do say buy this TV.

Great Value and Excellent Pic

I already have two 32" Spectre HDTV‘s and have been very happy with the quality of picture and reliability. Wanted a bigger 55" for main living area so stuck with the brand. Can‘t beat the quality for the price.... Great Product and very easy to set up! Thanks Sceptre!

Great Value

After returning the first one shipped to me due to faulty assembly, I have had this a month an so far I‘m quite pleased. Takes some tweaking (sound) but everything works very well and picture is excellent (for these specs). Assuming this TV lasts a good while, this was a great purchase and I will look at Sceptre again for future tv purchases.
