Spectacular TV for the price.

Using as a computer monitor

This monitor is a great monitor for our computer. The 4K resolution at this size is spectacular and at this price point you can't beat it. You can actually see every pixel in an 8 Megapixel photograph.

Amazing Value

Large clear screen at a fantastic price. Audio is adequate for many. I added a small satellite speaker system to make it acceptable! I would only wish for the ability to control from a smartphone app

Great price on a very good tv

As with any new technology it takes a little while to figure all the settings. My only complaint is the audio set on surround sound on some programs is tinny and the jump from level 8 to 9 is big. I wish there were .5 increments

Good price, amazing picture, & best deal on a 4K

When I first seen this tv being advertised I thoughr either a typo or it was poor quality. After reading the reviews that were almost all positive I figured I had been wanting a big screen bad but evedything i had seen in the same size was double the price. So i figured a 49 inch 4k for under $300 was worth taking a risk. The pic is great an colors an reaolution all that 2. The only reason 4 instead of 5 stars is cuz its not a smart tv an the sound quality below average but went out an got an inexpensive soundbar an now im turnt up. For the price its a no brainer go get at it.

only had tv for a couple of days working great fairly easy to set up for a non tech person was worry about the sound quality from reading some other reviews but it seems good to me good picture quality give it a thumbs up

Nice 4k TV for the price

The only drawback that I have found is others have mentioned. On my x505 I could adjust the external surround sound system with the volume control on the TV. You can't on this one, unless you keep going into the sound settings and turning on the TV speakers. The setting reverts to off every time you turn the TV off. I guess because it detects something plugged in and they want you to buy a sound bar. Remote controlled computer speakers are half the price though.

Good TV

I bought it two weeks ago and use it as an additional computer monitor. The shipment is reliable and quick. The installation is easy. I did struggle a little initially in setting up the display relationship between an existing computer monitor and the TV, but it is nothing to do with Sceptre. Once the setup is complete, it works beautifully. I am particularly happy with my choice of the 4K resolution. The screen is large and the resolution is great, much better than my computer monitor. I am very happy of with my purchase. My large screen display is so cool and comfort to my eyes.

fantastic clear picture

just received this spectre tv and wow what great picture quality. definitely have to play with sound adjustments for your particular programming whether music movie or news for example. have read alot of folks opt for soundbars which I am sure would improve sound remarkably. the price was incredible too. thanks spectre.

An affordabl, large 4K TV

The picture is excellent. The sound is fine......as long as you aren't playing music. When playing music, the sound shifts constantly high and low. When watching Netflix or regular shows, the sound is normal. Very thin with minimal bezels. The led power light shines beautifully in the dark. Overall, I love the TV.

Great buy needs adjustments

This is a great TV! U definitely need to do heavy adjustments to the tv to have it look good. Out of the box I almost returned it because of poor colors and poor quality of picture. It was very dark at first but after changing the backlight to 100% and adjusting the colors it looks GREAT. I highly recommend this TV. At this price it is unbeatable. I have a 79" LG 3D TV and a 65" LG 3D tv that both cost over a few thousand dollars. While this tv is a guest bedroom tv, it pretty closely matches my more expensive TVs. The picture is quite stunning. While some of the vibrancy and pop of yellow and red are not as eye poppingly stunning as my other main TVs this TV is still very respectable and very close. It is much better then other budget tv's that colors may be very flat. This tv is not flat but just not quite 3000$ TV quality. Now I paid 3000$ for the 65" LG so I would hope it would have a better picture. Now for this price I would not hesitate to purchase this. I am very picky about accurate colors so most may not notice such sudlties as I so most may not notice. As far as clarity it is great. The 4K and 1080p as far as clarity and detail are identical to my other more costly TVs....

2nd Sceptre purchased

Twice now I've purchased one of these sceptre tvs and twice now I've been beyond pleased. Packaging is impressive and product is very well protected. TV looks nice and seems well constructed and the picture quality once again is better than my much more expensive name brand tv that is also 4k ultra. Highly recommend this brand.

Great product

I bought this back in February and have been enjoying it so much that I forgot to even register or submit a review!! We use this tv for PS4(awesome) and watching movies, i.e Netflix,Hulu,etc. It is a quality product and the screen size is great. I wish there was a game setting on the picture options though and sometimes there will be a quick flash on the screen but it‘s hardly noticeable by the human eye and usually only happens right when it‘s powered on after a couple minutes or less and not every time. Buy a Sceptre you won‘t be disappointed.
