Very pleased with my purchase

Pleased with delivery time and pleased with purchase. Not too pleased with the colors when if got tv but got better the more it was used.

Value for the Money

This is third Sceptre Tv I own (19", 24", and 40"). All are great. Watch on line prices. I purchased mine for $179.99. Zero complaints.

Great for gaming

Son loves it! He's a gamer and says the graphics are so much clearer on this TV than on his other one.

Great TV-Great price

I read quite a lot of the reviews on this television before making my purchase because that's what I usually do, read, read, read. Besides I hadn't heard of this brand before. I've only had the set for a few weeks and so far is has worked great, almost every review had negative views about the sound. I am 63 and my mother is 82 years old ( i'm pretty much deaf) but can hear it with the sound up to about 40 or more and have purchased a sound bar, but haven't received it yet, I have read that that helps quite a bit. The picture is great and we are very happy with it. All in all it was a great purchase, for the price, even better. One of my neighbors set it up for me, in fact she has the same TV in her living room and she is very happy with hers also. I would defiantly recommend it to a friend.

Great TV for the price.

I am very happy with the picture and sharpness on this TV. The sound is not great but I expected that and have it hooked up to external speakers.

So far, great

Only had it running for a week, but so far everything is wonderful. Hooked up Roku, DVD player, and antenna, and in minutes we were up and running. Great picture!

Excellent tv

Looked at quite a few tv's and read a lot of reviews. There were complaints about the sound on this one but I purchased it anyway and have not been disappointed. The sound is loud, the picture is great and the price was good. Had it sent to the store for easy pick up, so no shipping charge. Happy with my choice and hope it works for a long, long time.

Excellent value for the price!!

The sound is great, I haven't done a bass-tester or anything like that, but so far just watching everyday TV shows, I haven't had any issues with the sound like others have claimed- perhaps those with sound issues had damage to their TVs. The volume on this TV is able to go up VERY high/loud. The picture is alright, I've seen better in 1080p's (it's a little blurrier than I expected) but it's not terrible. I highly recommend enabling the MEMC feature (motion estimation motion compensation) as soon as you set your TV up- instructions on how to do so are in the box. It helps the picture quality. This TV is computer-compatible, meaning it has a port to connect your computer to it and use the TV in place of the monitor. I was not expecting that, and was happily surprised. Overall very pleased with my purchase! It was a breeze to set up, and i'm quite inexperienced with putting things together! It includes a small screwdriver as well, which I highly appreciated.

Sceptre 40 in. Flat Screen

Great T.V for a resonable price. Ive had it several weeks. No problem with the sound, nice clear picture. Very happy with my purchase, especially for the low price.

So far so good. I'm using this as a 4th monitor on my cpu set up and ordered a HDMI ROKU stick coming soon.. Using my 55 inch Vizio M series as my main TV/3rd monitor and comparing pictures between both you really can't tell the difference.. Can't wait for the Roku I won't have a lack for media content!!!
