Great TV for a small space or a Kid

This little TV was bought as a Christmas gift for my daughter to replace an old tube type TV her uncle gave her a few years ago. So I felt it was time to upgrade her to this because the size was right, the price was even better but now she'll hook up her xbox360 to it and be able to watch netflix off of the family account.

A good buy

This is a very good deal. The viewing angle is far better than some comparable units and the remote is comprehensive and fairly easy to use. Most TV's this size have only 1 HDMI input but the second on this unit allows me to connect both my DVD and a streaming stick As others have noted, the sound quality is terrible, but using the headphone jack with a set of old desktop computer speakers takes care of that nicely.

Liked the look and size. Had some difficulty with the screen flipping to colors after about a week. After reading the manual, checking online trouble shooting; called the company's help desk. He told us how to correct the problem and all has been well since.

Great HDTV for the $$

I recently bought a very small home and needed a smaller size HDTV for my master bedroom, which is also pretty small. All I kept seeing were 24" -32" TV's which would be like being at the drive-in at the end of my bed, too large. I saw this 19", read the reviews and thought I would give it a chance. Glad I did, easy set up, picture is clear and sharp and it even has great sound. I was amazed! I wanted a TV with a sleep timer because for some reason, I can only sleep to the drone of TV noise. I had wanted to install a ROKU streaming stick to give me more options on insomnia nights, but after 3 tries, I could not get it installed even with ROKU's customer service and help from TWC. I am amazed that it has 2 HDMI's plus so many other features only available on larger and more expensive units. I find that I can even get channels that I cannot get in my living room on my bigger Smart HDTV which is cool. I would have given this 5 stars if it weren't for the clumsiness of the remote. I would love to have a remote with a lit button feature which would make surfing in the dark easier and a manual to explain all the remote's features. I am sure I am not using this to it's full capability and that is a shame. All in all, if you are looking for a smaller HDTV, this one fits the bill.

Bought 2 of these for my children. They love them .... perfect size for their small rooms. Easy features for a small child to be able to learn and use. The sound and picture quality is great! I love the swivel capability, and also the built in dvd player!

Great Picture

Purchased to replace old CRT/DVD unit. Selling point was (2) HDMI ports this way I can up grade to Blue-Ray. Only draw back is that sound sounds tinny.

Nice little TV

Bought this for my granddaughters room. Works well for what she needs. The sound is just slightly off which is why 4 star instead of 5

AWESOME PICTURE QUALITY!

I recently purchased this TV as I wanted a smaller TV for travel in our RV. I chose this particular unit for its many great features. As this TV was only available online, I could not see the picture quality until I received it. And, after owning my own video production company for several years, I am extremely fussy when it comes to picture quality. However, after connecting this TV to the antenna, I was completely blown away! The picture quality was OUTSTANDING. I would highly recommend SCEPTRE products to anyone who wants high quality televisions at affordable prices.

Great little TV

I bought this TV for my guest bedroom and I am extremely happy with it. I already had a Roku 1 to use on it. However, when I saw that the Roku Streaming Stick could be controlled with the TV remote, I ordered the Streaming stick. It has a beautiful picture and an easy to read remote. I can honestly say that I got more than I expected.

Very good picture.

I purchased this model for my bedroom and it is serving it‘s purpose quite well. Connected a set of older PC speakers to the AUX input and am powering them through the USB connection on the TV so sound is very good also.
