Great Monitor!
For the price, this is a fantastic monitor! The picture is clear and bright, 2 HDMI ports (awesome!), it has a low profile (meaning it's not positioned too high from the stand base), for built-in monitor speakers, they're really good. I have a dual monitor setup in my home office. I purchased a monitor a couple of years ago that had 2 HDMI ports and built-in speakers. I wanted this so when I was working casually and didn't require both monitors (such as checking email), I could easily switch the "channel" to the second HDMI port and fire up an extra Roku I had, and I didn't have to worry about taking up more space on my desk with another set of speakers. Then, if I needed the second monitor for my computer, all I had to do was "change the channel". The problem with that setup is that the speakers are very poor and it can be difficult to hear. This monitor from Sceptre has much better sound, so much so that I am considering purchasing another one and replacing my office monitor with this. I use the monitor with its stand (not mounted to a wall or monitor-mount. Therefore, I appreciate having the ports flush with the back of the monitor, as opposed to facing downward. It makes it much easier to access the ports. My one complaint would be the placement of the buttons. I'm used to the control buttons (power, settings, etc) being located along the bottom of the frame, with the labels on the front of the frame. These buttons are near the outside edge of the frame, but in the back, meaning to control it, you have to feel around for the button you want and have their layout memorized. Otherwise, you have to turn the monitor to find them.
