SCEPTRE X405BV-F 40" LED Class 1080P HDTV

Got this television set as a replacement of my old one that out o fno where went out on me. Old tv was 32in so this one is drastically bigger but still fits in my room nicely. Has all the inputs that my last one had and what looked for in a replacement and was offered at the best price at the time of me researching for a new set (especially for the size). - Great sound (better than my previous tv) - 3 HDMI ports - Great picture - Excellent Price

I'm not happy.

The attachment for the TV to the base was missing from the box. I have to take it to the store to exchange. I'm not happy.

I ordered this television on-line; I was very happy with the service provided, in that it arrived a day earlier than I was initially informed and customer service rep was very efficient and helpful. As for the television itself, very pleased with the ultra-easy setup, and the picture; very clear and sharp. The sound is another story. I find it challenging to find a pleasing volume. Either I struggle to hear the dialogue, or turn up the volume to a point where it is too loud. I've played with it since purchasing and have yet to find a comfortable volume. Other than that, great buy.

Great value for excellent tv

Tv was easy to set up. Took 20 minutes from box to running. Replaced 32 scepter version for bedroom picture is clear sound is adequate for small room. Very pleased with price and quality

We have had a LG and an Emerson for years and just bought this t.v. for my daughters room. I don't notice any difference as far as pic quality or sound. Everything seems just as good for a way lower price. Can't beat it!

Very nice TV

This is my second Sceptre TV. My first one is a 32 in for my office and loved it so much that I got this 40'. Picture looks great and the sound was surprising ok not great but ok. This doesn't come with a HDMI cord but you can get one anywhere. My smaller 30' speakers don't sound great so I had to order some external speakers which did the trick. I highly recommend this TV if you are on a budget and still want a nice TV to enjoy. It may not be a popular name brand TV but the price is right and the picture is amazing.

I haven't purchased a TV in ages and was first of all surprised at what reasonable prices they are today.... The quality of the TV is perfect; the size for my office is perfect; sooo I really like it and am VERY satisfied.

I love my TV. Picture quality is fantastic. Had a 32 in my front room just upgraded to the the 40. The sound is not so great but I already had a soundbar in there to boost it. Great purchase. It was 199 when I got it. Easy to hook up all of my devices and compatible with smartphone remote.

Excellent

This inexpensive TV has an excellent picture. The swivel stand is awesome! The sound gets ragged on but for the price you can't beat it. No it doesn't sound like it has Bose speakers, but for someone like me that watches tv and movies, instead of experiencing them, it is all I will ever need. Beside for $79 to &109 you can get the sound bar of your dreams if you are so inclided to do, and still be ahead of the game!

For about 200 bucks you can't go wrong. It was also delivered right to my door, and light enough to pick up by myself.

After our initial bad experience receiving a damaged TV, we are extremely happy with the replacement! It was simple to set up, and easy to adjust all of the different settings. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone who wants good quality at an affordable price!
