wOw!

I bought the Sceptre 4K U500CV TV to replace a $3,000 GEN 1 Samsung 55" 1080P TV that had succumbed to HDMI changes that forced me to use component connectors (it was time to step UP, anyhow). Setup was a snap. Connected HDMI 2 to DishNet box and HDMI 1 to a Roku 4, and an optical digital cable from the TV to my Visio 39" sound bar. What‘s not to like? What an outstanding unit! Being a color perfectionist, I had to warm up the color balance a tad, but for the price I paid, no big deal. I have already recommended this TV to several friends. My only problem now is how do I get rid of my old, 90-pound dinosaur Samsung without breaking my back? BUY ME!

Brilliant television!!

This tv is absolutely phenominal! It hasa stunning picture quality, unfortunately i have not been able to view anything in 4k yet but once i do, I'm sure it will be stunning! Once you adjust the sound settings and the picture to your liking, this is one of the best tv's on the market. A major reason i bought yhis brand was the price. A top of the line picture quality for under $400?! You just cant beat that! If you're looking for a great tv for a fraction of the cost of the name brands, look no further than this 49" Sceptre 4k ultra hd television!

Great TV for the Price

Amazing picture quality. Easy to set up and use. My only complaint is the sound is not good. But we hooked it up to an old stereo receiver with speakers and now it‘s amazing! Will probably upgrade to a sound bar at some point, but need to learn that technology first to know what to look for.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and I love it. I almost bought a non-UHD tv for more money! THis TV rocks. I use it mostly as a monitor w/ my computer and w/ some cable tv. I ended up changing the pre-progammed settings, and now it is perfect! Btw, this unit arrived without the tuner. THere was a square empty space on the side of the and TV where the cable input should have been. I called customer service the lady new exactly what I was talking about and they sent me the part -- i got it in 2 days. No charge. Great customer service

Great TV at a great price

Where else can you get an ultra-high-definition TV of this size at this price? Sure it's not a "smart" TV but for $35 you can add Google Chromecast and get the same functionality. It's a winner in my book

Sceptre TV

The television picture is excellent. Until I get can get a 4 K transmission feed, however, I won't know just how good. It currently looks a little better than by other HDTV picture screens but not much. The sound is not good. Hooking the TV up is easy and the product was delivered quickly. I'm still amazed that this tv is so inexpensive.

Sceptre 49in 4k

First off, i purchased this tv on saturday and received it by the following wednesday so shipping was very fast and hassle free. I have to admit i was skeptical at first, being so cheap and all, but upon taking it out of the box the build quality really surprised me. Very nice overall. The picture is crisp and clear with no noticable bleeding as others have stated. Its hooked up to my xbox one and looks fantastic. Netflix is where it really shines as shows just look phenomenal. Sure its not 120 hz ,but really for the price and all the features including 4k, you cant go wrong. 5 stars

LOVE IT!!!

I did all my own research, and read the reviews that others had left about this television. I decided to take a chance on an unknown (couldn't find in store to compare to other televisions) and do not regret my decision for a minute. Picture is great and once you tweak the sound, I have no problems with it. The price was amazing for a 4K tv...and I am glad that I found it.

Sceptre TV 4K.

Easy put up Scanned stations and began to watch CRYSTAL clear picture using a $14 indoor antenna. far superior to my 5 year old VIZIO.

Had my doubts and was completely wrong!!

First off let me start this review off with the fact that like most who have looked at this tv or purchased it that I was extremely worried that it would be terrible. Boy was I completely wrong!! This tv is amazing in everyway. From the setup to the actual resolution. I am so happy I bought this! Right out of the box it looked amazing. Took about 6 minutes to screw the stand in and plug it in and BOOM! amazing quality HD...especially when I hooked my blu ray player up! Must have for anyone who wants a new tv and doesn't want to spend $2,000 on a 4k. Remember, the worse 4k is still better than a 1080z

MAGNIFICENT Product!

I bought this product on the reviews available online trusting what I saw, and so glad I did! This 4k UHD Television has a wonderful picture quality! The sound is even better than the reviews I read! Once adjusted, the sound came through great! The 4k Picture in total I have yet to really see from an available 4k streaming source, but I can say that the HD 1080P source looks better than my other previous HD 1080p television!

Take the Chance! GREAT 4K UHD!!

Just received this television after taking the chance trusting the reviews we saw, and "WOW", what a TV for the money! We are SO glad that we took a chance at this for the amount it cost! Setup was easy! The Picture, even on mere HD channels after adjustment is wonderful! The sound quality, after setup and tweaking is REALLY High Quality, SRS Surround expansive! I really think that they have a winner and prove it true, that you CAN find great quality for LOW COST!! If you're looking for a 4K UHD for a great low price, this is it!

Sceptre U500-UMK 49" Ultra HD

I bought the Sceptre Ultra HD, because I had already bought two models previously-a 32: and a 40". Actually, the same day I picked up the Sceptre 49", I sold the 32" to a coworker and I contacted him this weekend to find out how he liked the TV and he thanked me for selling him the TV, because he says the picture is so clear and crisp. He has a Vizio and the Sceptre shows just as good of a picture. So I have been aware of how good the Sceptre LED HD TVs perform. Now don't go out and raise the price because you have a good product. That has been partly why I've patronized your product and when guest come over they can't believe the product name on the TV.

3 months later...Compliments on the picture are still coming in! 4 times from my wife too

Bought this TV in July 2015[3 months ago] to replace a SCEPTRE 1080 TV[4 years,still excellent picture]

Sound is terrible. A soundbar you will likely add at some time. Keep in mind the $800UP TVs typically have subpar sound.

EXCELLENT PICTURE. I am getting compliments for buying this TV even today.
The Internet is full of lots of back and forth chat about;how 4K isnt 4K, theres not much 4K, some 1080 TVs have better pictures than 4K TVs, 'spend $800 up and get a real 4K'..

The picture is EXCELLENT,GORGEOUS. I use this 99% for TV/Roku. When i hook my computer to the TV HDMI inputs,i go to the website of the Cape Cod canal web cam. The passenger bridge in the background is over 1 mile away, i can see the cars going over the bridge.

The brand SCEPTRE? I nought a SCEPTRE TV 4, 5 years ago,1080 hdtv,still working as a second TV

SUMMARY: It is a basic 4K HDTV with poor sound and an excellent 4K picture, A 1080 TV picture looks like a standard TV picture compared to this TV's picture.
4K HDTV IS STILL IN THE DEVELOPMENT STAGES. Dont overspend for a 4K that might be outdated when 4K matures. Would not pay over $500 though because you will need at least $50 for a soundbar
