Exactly as expected, & correct model.
Been in service for 5 days, & is everything I expected. The chassis plate says the correct model number, same for the box. No question this is the TV I ordered. Couple of things I like, there is a "Picture" button on the remote that steps through several presets of brightness, contrast, etc., including a "User" setting, which I tamed down further than the "Mild" setting for watching at night waiting to go to sleep. There's also a sleep timer handy with the remote. During the day I leave it on "Vivid," which is very bright & clean, best picture we've ever seen. The "upscaling" of some older programs like Star Trek: TNG isn't as sharp as modern HD shows, I did't really expect it, but t's still very good resolution. So far, I couldn't be more pleased. I accidentally turned off the power to the THX receiver this morning & the TV speakers kicked in, the receiver still passing the satellite signal, and you don't want to hear the speakers by themselves. Like the kitchen TV I based my decision for this one on, the speakers are very tinny. In the kitchen I just hooked up a couple of spares from a kit I got to add a subwoofer to the wife's computer. They sound fine in the kitchen, If nothing else, you need at least a subwoofer in addition to this TV's speakers. I got exactly what I was expecting, and I couldn't be more pleased.
