Great picture - Good value

I bought this 50" LED TV a week ago and am very happy with it so far ..... it was shipped on time & worked right out of the box with only 5 screws necessary to assemble the stand. The picture with the default settings was a little washed out, but with the vivid picture setting ... it gave it good contrast. GREAT VALUE!!

I brought my TV march 17th threw Walmart I‘m so happy the sound and picture was great I would say yes this is a great buy for the price can‘t wait to get my second one

Very good TV, but...

I am pleased with the TV overall, good value, easy to setup, great picture, love the swivel base, has very good sound considering most TVs now days have little to none, and has ample inputs for all your needs (HDMI, etc). The remote that it comes with, although functional, is very basic and not really designed with a lot of thought. That leads me to the only negative, and will most likely make me shop for another brand next purchase, which is the lack of working codes for a universal remote. I have spent 10+ hours trying to find and use a working code to no avail. How does one upgrade to a good layout remote? Although I am going to select "yes" in recommending to a friend, I am truly on the fence 50/50 on this one.

Bought this T.V. online from Walmart because of the great price. So far we love it. The picture is great the sound is good. I would definitely recommend this sceptical T.V. to family and friends.

AMAZING PICTURE!

I am amazed at the picture on this Television. It is a 50 inch and was only $ 289.00 so I thought it would be a just good enough TV. To my great surprise, It has a beautiful, bright clear amazing picture. The last TV we had ,cost four times as much, didn‘t have as good a picture , and only lasted three years. I am thrilled with this Television! Oh, and the sound on it is also way beyond what I expected. Thank you for making such a great Television!

Great picture; fair sound

This is my second Sceptre TV and I am very happy with the features and the picture of both, but like all flat screen TV‘s, the sound leaves something to be desired. A sound bar was a big improvement.

Great Buy!

My initial impression with my scepter 50" is WOW!!!. Picture and Sound are Great! Navigation through channels and HDMI is a breeze. The true test will be reliability and longevity. I really am impressed.

Got this TV as a Christmas gift to replace my 10 year old Samsung and never even heard of Sceptre - so I was sceptic regarding this brand! All in all: great value and a quality product - setup was easy without using (or need of) the short page manual! Picture and speakers are what you would expect from a new TV! Would recommend this 50 inch Flatscreen to everyone who‘s on a budget and in need of a great new TV!!!
