Excellent purchase for under $200

Great inexpensive TV. I put this in the workout room in the basement. Very light so it is easy to hang from a ceiling mount. Not a smart TV so it starts up very fast. Has everything I need. If it lasts a decent length of time it will be my favorite TV purchase ever. Delivery was rather slow at about 2 weeks.

This tv is great! Good picture, sound and price. When I purchase another tv for my bedroom I will buy this brand. If you have children I would make sure this tv is either mounted on the wall or have a stable place for it to sit as to not get knocked over.

TV is great, picture is really really good for price. the HDMI cord that came with the TV was causing "sparkles" all over the screen so we just switched it for one we already had and it was all good!

Loving my new Sceptre HDTV!

Sharp picture, good sound, true colors and love the large screen! Replaced my 32" Sceptre with the 50" and boy, football has taken on a whole new look! Go Seahawks!

SENIOR CITIZEN GETS AN EDUCATION ON NEW TV

It just goes to show that an Old Senior Citizen like I... can educate myself on how to "set up" these new, modern, fancy, high-tech TVs!! I FINALLY learned what a component and composite is. I learned how to set-up CC (closed caption) I learned how to set-up a favorite channel list. I learned how to do picture settings and regulate the quality of pictures coming in. I learned what HDMI means. I learned what yPbPr means....and I'm still learning! If I'm stumped....I can also call Sceptre Tech Support...toll free number. This time I got one who spoke English, too. I learned a lot about HDTV Online....and I'm still learning. We've had our Sceptre 50" TV for a week now.....so far...so WONDERFUL!

I agree with some of the other reviewers that the sound could be better, but for the price, I am well pleased with this purchase. The picture quality is great and my husband loves it.

We have only had this TV for about 3 weeks but so far so good. The picture is great, sound not bad, plenty of USB and HDMI ports. I wished it had a RCA audio output but it does have a fiberoptic output. I would recommend it to my family and friends.
