Blown Away

After seeing several HD TVs and then watching my 16 year old Sony rear projection TV I decided to get a new HD TV. My daughter has a 60" Sony with a sharp picture and I wanted something as good but I did not have a lot to spend. I decided on a Sceptre X460BV-F120. The picture is not as good as my daughter's TV, it is better.  I would not hesitate to recommend this TV to anyone. Wait 'til you see what you have been missing, this TV takes things to a whole new level.

I LOVE the quality of the picture! Way over my expectations!! The sound( without our surround sound) is excellent way better than the name brand we replaced. Barely have it turned up!

I love this TV, I was a little scared to buy a unknown brand but it turned out great. The sound is great the picture is great... Don't be scared like I was just go for it. All the known brands were more by $200 - $300 I think this is a awesome deal.

Great Value

Very pleased with this LCD TV.  Set up was very easy and Walmart ship to store was a good experience. Sports/shows/movies look great on FIOS HD channels. Wii works great just had to get a composite cable. The 3 year extended warranty was the best price around and not being familiar with Sceptre brand, figured was worth the small investment.

Excellent TV for the Price!

This TV has every type of connector you would want, from vga for not so new computers, to 4 HDMI connections for just about anything that you would want to attach it to. It has a built-in equalizer with every level of tweak you could want. It also has USB to attach music players and other media devices directly to the TV. It also supports HDCP! Genius :-) If you buy this TV you will NOT be disappointed!

Very Affordable with Great Picture Quality

I did my research and this T.V. which is made by a company that makes flat screen computer monitors. Everyone has seen how good Sceptre's HD computer monitors are, so I took a chance and bought this brand T.V. Not only does this T.V. have all the features I prefer it was better than I expected. I tried the picture quality without Component or HDMI cables and the 120Hz refresh rate is still awesome. No matter what you use you can still tell its HD but me personally I still use HDMI cables which the T.V. comes with.

I Am Extremely Pleased

I am extremely pleased with my purchase of a 120hz Motion Blur Free Sceptre X460 High Definition LCD Television. The TV has an excellent quality picture comparable to TVs costing hundreds more. The speakers are equal to most LCDs of this size. It has many options for adding speakers. I chose the headphone jack (3.5 mm Mini-jack) and powered Klipsch speakers. It has Digital Audio Optical SPDIF out for 5.1CH audio devices

Works Great Right Out of the Box!

This TV works great right out of the box with minor tweaking to suit your personal needs. The product is packaged well with plenty of features.
The picture quality is everything I expected which is awesome. I have owned a 42" Sceptre TV before and this 46" is even better. The speakers are plenty good for an LCD TV, if you want serious sound you may want a sound bar, I use a surround system for watching DVD's but regular TV sound for normal viewing. For the money you can't go wrong, great TV at a great price. A+

Very Nice TV!

Pros: This is a very good TV. Bought it on sale @ Newegg for $699 to watch the Superbowl. The picture is very bright and sharp even using my analog antenna. The HD channels are crisp and clear. It was easy to set up with plenty of inputs and outputs. It powers on quickly and I have heard no buzzing from behind the set. There were no dead pixals and the shipping cartons were double boxed. The remote seems to have a decent range.

Cons: The only reason I would knock off an egg is the sound quality when going past 25 on the volume level. This is really not a concern though as I am using the Logitech Z-5500 505 Watts 5.1 Digital Speaker System which sounds amazing and will rock your socks off!

Other Thoughts: Very Nice TV and I would buy it again in a heartbeat! I have seen my friends 46" Sony Bravia and another friends 46" Panasonic and they have nothing over on the picture quality of my Sceptre. My picture quality is ever bit as good if not better!

Great TV for the price

Pros: Big and cheap. I bought this from Newegg on special right after Christmas for like $800 dollars. Its the best TV I could find for that price.

Cons: I have had no problems with this TV as of yet.

Other Thoughts: I've noticed that the price now is about $1200 dollars and I cannot say whether it would be worth that much or not. But I can tell you mine is a good TV that works.

Great investment

Pros: Huge Tv!!! Clear pic ( i did have to adjust the color out of the box), I didn't have any problems with my remote. Wasn't expecting "top of the line" quality--but I was pleasantly suprised!! This is my first big "flat" screen. Purchased after shopping around for about a year- great price--did I mention GREAT PRICE! Very pleased with my purchase. Im sure its better tv's out there --but for the regular folks who just want a good clear pic at a great price--this is a great investment.

Cons: Very Heavy--but who cares-- I dont plan on moving it anytime soon (just make sure you have enough man power to move it to it's destination). May need to add additonal speakers. I think they are fine--but some people may need more power i guess.

Other Thoughts: Many props to NEWEGG.com- I am a first time buyer from here. I have NEVER experienced such "wonderful" customer service. Ordered on thursday--payment cleared the same day, received tracking number on Friday , and got TV on Tuesday. That is nuts----Did I mention shipping was $29.99. Alot of places try to "get over" on the customer. New Egg was Very FAir. Just very pleased. Thank you NEWEGG!

Excellent TV for the Money

Pros: This TV is great for the price, couldn't have gotten a better one. The pictures is just as good as a friend's Sony Bravia for more than twice the money. This TV has plenty of inputs, looks great with HD sports (I'm a hockey fan and have had no choppiness or blurring when watching games in HD) and is a great TV for use with gaming systems such as a PlayStation 3. I highly recommend this to anyone. The shipping was fast and the TV was in great shape. I think they have improved packaging since the person who reported he got 2 broken. It's not much heavier than most similar-sized HD TVs and the viewing angle is excellent. 

I highly recommend this to anyone looking to save some money but still get a nice big HD TV.

Cons: Not much of a Con really, but the sound options are a bit lacking. The sound is actually really good, but if you like rich, surround sound quality, you may want to consider a home theater system at some point. 

However, I use this a my primary TV and I have high ceilings and a spacious living room and the "Movies" sound setting works great for most uses. 

I'll eventually get a home theater system myself, but the sound is way better than the Olevia I had in the past and is definitely decent enough for the average non-audiophile.

Other Thoughts: Get one, the price is right, you won't be disappointed.
