Nice TV

I read all the reviews and I bought this TV for a friend of mine who‘s not really TV smart he did not need a smart TV the review said this had bad sound after I just of the sound levels it was great I think it‘s a really nice TV for the price it was under $100

The Chrome 23"

I saved quite a bit. The TV works fine, the color is good, it arrived fine, is 1080 pixel etc. I still haven't found a catch. I guess chrome was just an unpopular color when I bought it, because all the other colors were $50+ more.

Excellent for the Price

Let's face it: if you want a fancy home theater system you are going to spend money to get it. If you just want a TV that will play your entertainment on a nice screen without taking up a lot of space, this is what you want! The price is great and it has plenty of ports for anything you'd want to connect to it. I use this with a Roku and am perfectly happy with it.

The sound: I read many people complaining about the sound on this unit. I do not ever expect theater quality sound straight from a TV, especially a low-price TV! However I find the sound on this unit to be perfectly adequate as-is, but if you really want a higher quality sound experience, just get some speakers and plug them in.

It would be nice if the included stand would hold the TV straight instead of tilting slightly back, but this is not enough of an issue for me to lower my rating.

This TV was extremely easy to setup and I would certainly buy it again.

Great TV, Greater Price

This was an unbelievalbe value for a 1080 LED television! It arrived quickly and in excellent condiition. The picture quality is as great as one would expect. I am enjoying viewing it!

For barely $100 this TV is great. The picture is great and it has 3 hdml inpiut jacks.

TV is Awesome and at a Great Price

There were complaints about the audio so i was worried, but when you adjust the speakers from mono to stereo it works well for the size of TV, if you need louder than that then a good pair of computer speakers would do the trick.

I have to say I am impressed with the quality from Sceptre, I bought a 32" 1080p and to this day I am impressed with the quality I got for the price I paid.

This is a great TV that doubles as a monitor for regular home usage.

Q:The video card driver is not up to date, how can I fix this? ?
A:

  1. Find out what card you have by going into the Display Settings of your Operating System.  You will be able to see your video card name.
  2. Most video cards are from two companies, nVidia and AMD (formally ATI). You will need to download the latest driver to update your card. Here are the links:

    • nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    • AMD (formally ATI):  http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

    • Note: If your video card is not from nVidia, please search for the card on Google (www.google.com) or  visit www.sceptre.com for additional technical support and Live Chat with Customer Tech Support.

  3. Download the newest driver and remove the old driver from the system.  You will also need to remove the plug and play detected monitor driver.
  4. Reboot your computer and install the newest video card driver.
  5. You will need to reboot an additional time (reboot twice) for the system to detect the monitor, then you can adjust the monitor resolution.
