More than I expected

Waited a year to give a legit review. This TV has been operating on my Lanai outside in the Florida heat for a year. It's under a roof, but exposed to heat and humidity every day. I bought it because I didn't want to potentially destroy an expensive tv. This thing is chugging along like a champ. It's crazy loud too. The remote is mildly sun stained, but it's Florida so that can even happen inside.

Great little tv for the price!

My husband and I purchased this tv for his grandmother. She was moving into an apartment-style assisted living facility and needed something that was compact enough for the new space. This fit perfectly and I was so pleased with how light it was!! As in you-could-carry-it-with-one-arm light. Her vision is not the best so I felt good knowing that if it ever somehow got knocked over it wouldn’t do any damage.

The remote was also easy for her to use which was a factor, because again, her eye sight isn’t the best.

The tv has good picture and sound. The size was perfect and it made it easy to carry in and set up. It works great for her situation. I could also see this being a great affordable option for a college student or as a secondary tv in a home office or something like that.

Q:The video card driver is not up to date, how can I fix this? ?
A:

  1. Find out what card you have by going into the Display Settings of your Operating System.  You will be able to see your video card name.
  2. Most video cards are from two companies, nVidia and AMD (formally ATI). You will need to download the latest driver to update your card. Here are the links:

    • nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    • AMD (formally ATI):  http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

    • Note: If your video card is not from nVidia, please search for the card on Google (www.google.com) or  visit www.sceptre.com for additional technical support and Live Chat with Customer Tech Support.

  3. Download the newest driver and remove the old driver from the system.  You will also need to remove the plug and play detected monitor driver.
  4. Reboot your computer and install the newest video card driver.
  5. You will need to reboot an additional time (reboot twice) for the system to detect the monitor, then you can adjust the monitor resolution.
